Wonderful version of this song by the Seekers, really superb! Sadly Paul Simon. from what I've read, has pretty much disowned his part in writing "Red Rubber Ball|" claiming it was the only song he ever wrote because he needed the money. | I don't believe Simon sent the royalty checks back however..

I met the lovely Judith after a solo concert she gave in Southend-On-Sea in 2003. She was modest and charming, and had time for all her fans.

Isn’t it true that the song was written about a poor down-trodden farmer who had lost his one and only ewe?!!!

No welcome to country? Thats because first nations terminology and nonsense was introduced from North America about 15 years ago. Its rubbish. Its historically innacurate. There were no border wars here. Except for Tasmania, there was a genocide there. The British are culpable for this. The use of first nations terminology and concepts, should never be used in the Australian continent or NZ context, it is historically innacurate and should never be used in this context.

I'am 66 I still love all these old songs and singers from the 60s and 70s. I use to listen to all these with my parents and grandparents. Mostly on the car radio.
