This guy is an injury waiting to happen. If the playoffs were today the Dodgers are going nowhere. 0-12 with runners in scoring position in a 1-0 loss? this is not a small sample at this point the Dodgers are not a great team. They are carried by their pitching.

What’s up with the Dodgers!they are in a major slump ! Losing games to loser teams when they should be winning them ! They need to get it going they should be up there with the Yankees & Phillies !!

He is a shell of himself. We will never get that Walker back. That’s just the reality. He’s a good #5 option. Never will be an ace again

With all this talk about the Dodgers not hitting that well with RISP, I guess you could (somehow) miss the fact that this is expected when you’re.not hitting well period, which is actually the problem. Over the last month, the Dodgers are 13th in the NL with a team average of .230. With that said, we’ve still underperformed with RISP year to date, but it’s even harder to do when the bats are cold, and when you have guys in the lineup that don’t belong in the league. I grimaced when I heard Adrian Gonzales say that they guys need to be less selective at the plate, you can’t be serious man.Swinging at more pitchers’ pitches is the opposite of what you need to do if you want to get a hit. Cutting down on this is what needs to happen. This by the way is what Outman got so wrong this year and what he’s fixed in AAA, 18 walks in 13 games so far, that’s more like it.

James Outman is continuing to take it out on minor league pitching,, more every day now. He’s over 1.2 OPS now. We will see him back and maybe Taylor gets a bister like Thor did and we can move him to the IL. I’d be happy at tjis point, delighted in fact, if he gets sent down. No one will be claiming him off waivers unless they are sick in the head but it’s time we stopped. I don’t know if Taylor can even play in AAA.

I get various Dodger articles on my feed, and got one the other day pleading for us to empty the cupboards for Bo Bichette. Doug McCain surely suffered a serous head injury and a child, he’s.a fool at the best of times but this is completely ridiculous. Bichette has been so bad this year that Miggy Ro is a big upgrade both on the field at at the plate. Let’s rent a guy worthy of wishing he was on the DL and give away the farm for the privilege. I don’t want him for a bag of used baseballs and a couple broken bats. We have enough guys who belong in the minors without adding another at a big price no less.

James Paxton needs to go to the pen as soon as Miller gets back. Not in long relief, in short relief, one inning. It’s he and Bueller that sit at the botttom of the bag and while Bueller has looked shaky at times, Paxton’s got a 6 ERA over his past 5 starts and he’s the weakest link right now beyond any doubt. Sone is at the head of the class, not Glasnow, not Yamamoto, and when I heard the guys say that these are our two best starters for the playoffs, well they might end up being but this isn’t the case now. Last 30 days, Stone 1.74, Glasnow 3.30, Yamamoto 3.77, Bueller 3.86, Paxton 5,91. This is the right timeframe by the way t judge starters’ performance, as beyond this involves stats too old and shorter isn’t a big enough sample. It’s hard to say where Miller will fit in here, but he looks like he’ll slot in either at 4 or 5, probably 5 until he at least gets his sea legs back.

Fyi...Chris Taylor IS in the starting lineup today!
@normlee6566Күн бұрын
A reasonable expectation would be that he is as effective as knack. Otherwise, he shouldn't be in the rotation. Buehler would be viable trade bait in a three-team deal (to a contender for major league ready prospect(s) which LA doesn't have, to a third team for a player the Dodgers do want and need) that gets the Dodgers a true contact bat who either plays a middle infield spot or a corner OF position.

We'd be lucky if he's a #3 guy at this point. He's giving up too many homers for my liking (although it wouldn't be as much of an issue if the bats weren't in hibernation right now). I think putting him in the bullpen might be the best thing for him and the Dodgers this year.

Dodgers were hoping for a sweep. They just didn’t think it would happen to them.

If possible trade for Nolan, move Mookie to 2B, let Kike and Miggy Ro rotate at SS. Maybe grab Randy if it’s doable for the OF? Let Randy and Teo run the corners and let Heyward, Pages, Vargas, Outman (when he gets back up) platoon CF

I don't know if there's a real correlation but the offense has tanked since he's been out of the lineup.

Max is a great player. I hate to see any player injured… Except for Rendon… Really.
@flmarshall6871Күн бұрын
He hasn't been the same since he got injured a few years back on the last day of regular season. Yes, he will hit a few home runs, but that doesn't play in playoffs. I don't like players getting injured either, but this team isn't doing anything this year with this roster. Even the top of order can be bad. They are in a funk now.
@MrDavidboysКүн бұрын
@@TERoss-jk9ny LOL great player? Define it.
@goatyachty1762Күн бұрын
I just dont think this offense can get it done in the playoffs, I mean they already look exhausted. Mookie looks beat from the last 4 years of ring chasing, and playing short stop. I think He's starting to get tired. He's still great but they look so anemic and we can blame the bottom of the line up but shohei and mookie are just gone, muncy is injured, our guys DO NOT string hits together. this team just doesnt have it

Why the double standard, e.g., Vargas hit well in AAA so folks saying "bring him up," but not having the same view on Gauthier or Sweeney or Lipcius?

No Pham. He will never be a Dodger. He's toxic to the Dodger clubhouse.
