My bet would be that Lux, a full year after rehab will have a year equal to or better then Bichette. I also can't understand the rush to get rid of Miller. He had a bad year and we can't wait to trade him. Bichette had a bad year and he's now a key piece?

I can't overlook the team's $103 million luxury tax bill for '24. So, I can see trading for Bichette ending the talks to re-sign Teo, because Bichette will make around $17.5 million in '25, when the team will likely remain in the Cohen 110% tax bracket.

Its funny how so much hate on Arenado. Yes his numbers went down but was injured all year and still posted decent numbers. still .280 batting average and still got the pop and defense. He may just need a change of scenary and he could get hot once again. Meanwhile we have Taylor who we paying 15 mil a year for .100s average 😂

The Dodgers are pretty much set for the 2024/25 season. They can use a 'Lee Smith' type, closer though. Heck, they've got so many pitchers it'll be interesting if they can convert of 'em. I can see Dustin May coming in for the 9th. IF, he's healthy.

Life long Dodgers fan here, living in Toronto area. Able to see Bo play and this guy can hit. Sometimes stuck in a crappy lineup and tried to do it all himself. I always thought he'd be a great Dodger, not completely sold on trading for him yet But the guy can hit and in a lineup of stars he could be super dependable if healthy

Bichette has a lot of upside. He’s still young and one of the best third baseman in the league. He’s would be a major upgrade not only with his bat but his glove. He would also be a lot cheaper than Arrenado.

Is it Mookie's pride, ego that makes him want to play SS? How did Willie Mays and many other great outfielders able to jog out to their positions for 20 years and Mookie can't. It might be that him playing short this year could be a good move until the Dodgers can get a plus plus SS but it might be best that he plays 2nd or God forbid right. Whatever Lola wants Lola gets, I guess. On the other hand, with both Max and Lux with a year left this might be the time when you can get the most for them. Deal some prospects. AI said it was difficult to pinpoint an exact percentage but pitchers who had shoulder injuries, a significant number would eventually require surgery. Glasnow. Yamamoto just saying- Pitching, pitching, pitching. Maybe Mookie should be 3rd base coach so he doesn't have to run so far, that way he can bowl and play more hoops. Maybe Mookie should just be a podcaster, then he can just sit on his couch. Maybe Mookie should take 200 less ground balls and 200 less swings a day so he can be fresher for the game and make it out to right field, MAYBE. o.k. you guys bring it, there's a lot there for ya. LOL Merry Christmas...

As a jays fan....Bo has always been a guy leaving for the states...He is a floridian but most likely would sign with the Dodgers. Having said that 3 years in a row he was basically one of the best hitters in the league. I really dont think the Jays are letting him go for cheap. Trade Values are not gonna be considered. But i think a Lux and pitching prospect would get it done. IMO

Jay's ain't signing either! Lmao They think they'll sign Teo, so he'll be all alone in that anemic lineup? No, Teo ain't gonna handicap himself. Jay's area couple injuries n slumps away from the White Sox. Lol And, didn't Ross Atkins just say: " were sticking with Bo next year cuz he'll have a bounce back year". Which is BS, yet he will do somewhat better this year in Toronto... Not much probably. But LAD will know how to utilize Bo n get him back to himself

I don’t know about that… the last two years of Cody Bellinger as a Dodger was very frustrating. With every hit, you’d hope that meant he turned a corner, but that corner was eventually a non-tendered contract. And thankfully so.

I think Bo would thrive in the Dodgers lineup the same way Teo did. Anyone would. Having the 3 mvp’s batting 1, 2 n 3,, and then sandwiched anywhere with Will, Max, and Conforto, Edmonds, is a formula towards career #’s. Mix in the Dodgers way, coaching, and trust in every batter. I think the Dodgers could give part with some minor league talent. They seem to have know where to play them, every year. Get it done! Also, If Teo is seeking 22-24m for 3 years, wtf is the problem? They made him a QO, he could have said yes. I was worried they are competing with 3/85, or 4/110 for a team who lost out on Soto.
@modder1519 сағат бұрын
At best Bo's value should be about 11-15 million in trade value. Also while baseball trade values isn't the end all be all of player asset value it's still a relatively good framework for working out potential trades. Other baseball channels have been incorporating the site in their videos for a couple years now and this channel seems to be behind the times.

@mattyman5dodge10118 сағат бұрын
@@ryanc9876 I think Mookie is great - but his hitting did suffer when he was at short last season. The same thing will happen but on a much bigger scale this season. Deciding to move from right, even from second, to short stop is very difficult even for established stars like Mookie. And in my opinion, the front office is going along with what Mookie wants. If you asked quietly, where Mookie couldn't hear them, they'd agree with me.
@ryanc987617 сағат бұрын
@@mattyman5dodge101 I'm not sure his hitting was suffering because of his play at short. It wasn't long of a sample size to really say for sure. And last year was more of a "surprise, you're the new shortstop" on short notice--no pun intended. But I still believe Mookie is going to surprise everyone who doubts him again. I also see this as a short-term solution to short...again with the "short" stuff...
@ryanc987617 сағат бұрын
The other reason why I don't agree that it was related was because Mookie started off on a torrid pace to start to year AT shortstop, offensively. People also attributed it to being the new position. I didn't agree then, I don't agree now. I'll wait and see. And if it doesn't work, I know they have plan B's and maybe even C's in place.
