@YappinNCruisin3 күн бұрын
@@wolfpackpete6408 the R7 is definitely classed as a Sportbike. I didn’t think of it when I stated that the R9 was the first Yamaha Sportbike release since the R6 and R1 were released. However, I beleave the R7 was also originally released in 1999.
@wolfpackpete64083 күн бұрын
@YappinNCruisin the original R7 was a 750cc 4-cylinder. I get what you mean though. The current R7 is down on power and doesn't have the same peaky race engine nature associated with the 600cc 4-cylinder screamers. It is a bike in sporty style, but not meeting the desire for R6 lovers.

I am 5’11” and I don’t have any issues with the Miata seat height. My friend who was 6’ 3” rode as a passenger and barely fit - his head was about at the roofline. If you are very passionate about a Miata but you are taller than 6’2” you could always get different seats to lower yourself down into the car a little more. @@YappinNCruisin I don't think that 119hp is a decent power for a 900cc "supersport". And that is the biggest letdown from Yamaha. Not even trying to improve the power output of the bike. @@KapitanPisoar1 that is true. I just meant that it does at least match the HP figures from the R6 and with the added torque at least it isn’t even slower than the R6 in a straight line at the same price point as the R6 was.
@KapitanPisoar19 күн бұрын
@@YappinNCruisin I mean that’s pretty sad that we are barely matching hp figures of a 14 year old bike while having extra 300cc. Also here in Canada you can still buy GSXR 750 which technically is 10 year old bike, but is better in every aspect and cost $2000 less. Seems backwards to me…
