@@arturo8951 i did maincat empty and second cat 200 celler HJS. Perfect setup, smells a bit but not to much. On my video you see it

The next video I uploaded after this one was an update video on the SL63, but the car has long been fixed and as far as I know was running great and was sold shortly after we fixed it. We ended up finding a cylinder head for it and that ultimately was the fix along with new lifters and repolished camshaft journals. I recommend watching the short update I made on it, you can see the damage that was done to the cylinder head in that video but I was never able to update it passed that. Hope that helps brother!

In Chevy LS world its worth about 40HP on a 500HP Car. For these c63 its about 25rwhp. So a combo that'll get 485rwhp gets 510rwhp. In the coyote its about 30rwhp and 15rwtq as well.

@@dennisrobinson8008 the coyote gains the most if we’re talking gen 3 and maybe the 6.2 lt1 direct injected engines gain a lot more from e85

@@cartere9981 its the 12:1 compression. Coupled with increased timing available by using e85.

@@dennisrobinson8008 well increased compression is a direct connection with using direct injection it allows you to run higher compression with the same octane

There’s other methods of course, most people just cut the original downpipes in half and take them out that way. I’ve helped do downpipes on a AMG GTR and we just cut the two original downpipes in half and they fell right out, granted the transaxle on those is in the rear so there’s a little more room to get a sawzall in there and cut. It’s all preference I suppose.

@@Bozs4life switch path is you can use a remote control or own car control to open and close the valve to increase or decrease the sound. Track is just one setting, straight pipe all the way and all the time.

@@allenlee2124 if I recall it had an electric flap on the “H” pipe just after the downpipes. You can actually see it in the front of the exhaust at the very begin of the video. If I’m not mistaken the flap would open and close to simulate a “true-dual” exhaust system, sounded more raw and choppy with the valve closed but I don’t remember it making it any quieter. Have you done it? Is it louder than just a muffler and resonator delete?

@@Dozithekid not yet. Colorado emissions is difficult to pass and mine is due in November. Then I’m free and clear for 2 years…. I’ve failed enough cars and had to do my downpipe swaps twice that I’m willing to be patient enough to wait until November and then get my 2 year grace period…. For now just the large resonator delete has kept me 70% happy. I think these downpipes plus my res delete will sound pretty darn insane.

@@vdubjetta02 I just got catless downpipes on my c43 which has a muffler and resonator delete and it is super loud and just wayyyy too raspy, sounds like a ricer. If I had the amg performance exhaust it would be fine since I could close the valves but I don’t. How is the sound and rasp with your catless downpipes and resonator delete, is it raspy?

@@Ezaan0801 cts turbo, if you search c43 cts turbo downpipes a video should come up of one with performance exhaust

It's not too hard to do it yourself if you cut them. You won't have to remove the transmission if you cut the downpipes

What model year is your car? And did you find out what happened?
