Thank you, that was very informative. How long can you go on the trolling motor set up?
@BCMountainLife18 күн бұрын
Glad it answered some questions. Motor draws 50amp/hrs so it will go 2 hrs at full speed with a 100amp/hr battery. 4 hours at half speed although not good to run lead acid batteries to 0%.

How have the leaf springs been holding up? Any sag out squeaking?
@BCMountainLife20 күн бұрын
The leafs just started squeaking recently, sounds like its comming from front bushings. I will probably remove and re grease everything soon. They have held up well, no sag other then initial settling. They ride great even with not much weight in the back. Combined with the bump stops they handle 1200lbs quite nicely.

They are launching wheels. I purchased them from stryker and mounted myself. I have since purchased the dually wheels which are much better if you will be pulling a heavy setup onto the beach often.
@rykehuss34353 ай бұрын
@@BCMountainLife Ah I see. I was curious about the brand. I got a pair of Quicklok wheels on mine, though its a much heavier boat. About 700 lbs with the engine. Can still deadlift the nose up, though I would never (or could never) beach it on a shore like that haha. I use a block & tackle to pull it on the beach. Just island hopping. Very handy thing those wheels for a solo boater.

BUYER BEWARE! This tent frame's sliding mechanism is defective from the factory and broke off in my hands upon initial set up. Great video, I was just looking at getting one of these screen tents. I've had the problem you faced of not having poles marked properly in the past, once I figured it out I just put a wrap of colored phase tape (electrical tape) around where the markings were missing. Camping/fishing season is coming, gotta get ready.
