Not really, but a multicore processor will work better.

THANKS IT GAMER! I refurbished my older system to fold installed a intel Q9650 and a AMD HD 6990 GPU.Then I seen on Ebay one day an Intel Xeon E5-2683 v3 14 cores/28 threads engineering sample for $400 so I bought it and a new motherboard and a new Sapphire Radeon r9 390. since it's been started Ive gotten 70,128,397 points folding with it. it folds 24 7 365 even when i'm gaming.

Cool I bought a quad core Q9650 and an HD6990 GPU to fold with. Then I seen a xeon 14 core 28 thread processor for 400$ and just had to buy it along with a R9 390 gpu bpoth will do games and folding at the same time. :)

easier way on windows is to change the icon into the internet explorer one and rename it into "Internet Explorer"....nobody will ever expect the miracles that hide behind it.

Great video.. been folding.for a while.. my gtx 650ti folding full time and my gtx 670 when I'm not gaming along with a core i5 with the 650 and i7 with the 670.. About 80,000 ppd..
