What a delightful drawing. Makes me think of afternoon autumn walks, passing by piles of leaves, the smell of a crackling fire as those leaves burn (yes many years ago you were allowed to burn your leaves. This was well before leaf pickup), neighbors out doing the same thing. Kids maybe begging mom or dad to roast a marshmallow, that cool crisp air but the sun is still warm on your face. Stores already putting out Christmas stuff, almost completely skipping over Thanksgiving. Definitely has a strong and high nostalgia factor!

The cards are so cute. The flowers are held only by Washi tape. I will need to try. I have seen it where the flowers are attached with brown varnish. I like your method better. a great video.

How do you prevent the ink from smearing when printing on tissue paper please? I am trying to print text on tissue paper before decoupaging it onto wood. Many thanks!

Hi, I simply left the ink to dry for a few moments. I had no smudges so was pretty pleased with the outcome :)

I like this elegant fold, and I would use it in a journal. My only quibble is that I don't see how it's a "lock", exactly. A closure, yes, but a letter lock, to me, is something you can only open by tearing, and then it is obvious that it has been opened. This is easy to open, and easy to refold, so it wouldn't keep anything very secret (unless you put a drop of sealing wax in the centre, which would also look nice). As you mentioned, there are other folds used by MQS, which would have had the security element of being unopenable without tearing.
