I am currently Squat Jerking with no issue. I have the mobility for either jerks, and the Squat Jerk feels more natural to me than either the Split Jerk or Clean. I have short legs, medium-long torso and medium-long arms. Should I consider switching to Split Jerk? Not sure how much it matters, but my squat is about triple my OHP.

I would say that the Squat Jerk will be the future of weightlifting. My reasoning for this argument mostly stems from the fact that David Bedzhanyan power jerked 240kg in the 105kg weight class for a World Record at the time, until Illya came out and put up a 242kg Split Jerk. That 240kg Power Jerk is only 6kg off of Illya Illn's newer world record of 246kg using a split jerk. I think the reasoning for the lack of use in the squat jerk is simply because the split jerk is traditional and easier to save in competition. But the reality is, a well executed squat jerk gives the lifter more room to get under the barbell than a split or power jerk. Therefore, by the laws of physics. You could probably squeeze even more kg's out of those world records with a very precise squat jerker.
