And two years later, it happened with Krauss. He was right: It was in the cards.

When Prince lived in Toronto, he would be seen biking with his wife around the parks not far from his home on The Bridal Path.

It's about 20 years anniversary since this epic interview with Prince - one of the best (he seemed to be so comfortable and open) and fabulous music to boot. Bill, are there any memories of that time and was there an afterparty for real? Tryin to get hold of your book in the UK is tough.
@WelychkaBill4 ай бұрын
Sadly...no after party. That I know of. I went home after the live broadcast to watch the repeat. I know people in the UK who have the book. They ordered it on-line. The Prince broadcast is in the book. www.billwelychka.ca has info to order the book. Thanks!

@@WelychkaBill I prefer buying physical books from places like Waterstones. Bit of a luddite but will ask my son to buy it for me online. So, were you nervous? You seemed so at ease too and natural with your questions which were very good btw. Any nuggets that are not in the book?

I don’t even listen to todays music, I listen to the classic rock, & crank up my Led Zeppelin music. I also love the old Motown type music, I couldn’t tell you who the new so called artists are, it’s to fake.

Great interview by Prince but that's not news. What really surprised me was how good the questions were! No clichee, no masked flattery (except for the "visionary" one... But that whole trend is so boring). Good questions about his personal feelings, opinions, his journey and even negattive things (politics, bad shows, etc). Big props to the interviewer. What an honor.

Sorry Mr interviewer, the band wouldn't be shtt without Robert Plant. RP hesitated for a second after your statement n figured you for a scrub. Stupid questions. The only thing RP was thinking during this interviewer, was, when will it end!!. Stealing rhythms?? Lmao. Plant is looking over at his mgmt thinking, what the hell did you get me into??!!

OMG would I loved to had been there with Prince!!! What other artist with that stature would allow you to get on the stage and really jam with him! He is such an amazing artist with so many talents, he can sing and perform and write music, and produce, plus play ALL INSTRUMENTS!! I was blessed to grow up during his time, cause I truly doubt we will ever see an artist like PRINCE again. REST IN PEACE, THE BEAUTIFUL ONE 💜💜💜💜🧚♂🧚🧚♀🕊🕊🕊🕊
