Can someone answer a REALLY DUMB question (not being able to message Alasdair)... For some reason for the past few days the price of Gold going up and down has NOT been the SAME % across the board with all currencies... instead each currency is going up or down by a different % of the RISE in the Gold price. Irrespective of which currency is stronger than another; it NORMALLY shows the value of the Gold price at the SAME % rise or fall on the day; and a DIFFERENT increase in each currency to reflect that... Now it is showing a DIFFERENT rise or fall % for each currency. Am I going mad!!!

I think that "Affordability" is wrong here, they mean "Saddles you with". Let me explain; Approving or not approving your loan makes you no wealth and thus the comparison of your wealth against any cost such as a house is unchanged therefore Affordability is unchanged.
