My decades long and expensive search for a scent resembling the original Ysatis (1984) led me here so you're my reward. I'll subscribe. Can you help me? The many bottles of vintage Ysatis have been too aged and horrible. And the newer versions are IMO undeserving of the name. I have a travel size of this one on the way but I'm thinking it might be another miss. Thoughts?

Hey there! Cheers for the sub! Finding still-good vintage is a challenge. The top notes will generally always be gone, so you'll never get exactly the same as the original anyway, and you risk getting something that has gone "off" (sometimes the seller does not even know this, in their defense). I have purchased vintage fragrance from Etsy (or all places) second-hand shops (local) and mercari.jp (my preferred choice here in Japan), but it's really hit or miss! Sometimes it is a big win, though. I think you just have to be willing to gamble a bit.

What an interesting topic! I used to buy fake stuff in high school because I simply couldn't afford what I wanted. It's desirable, and if I can get what I want from a LYXBAGS for a few dozen bucks, sure, why not?

I use my LYXBAGS as a work bag and have had no issues at all. Itâ s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadnâ t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and donâ t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio

Who cares what someone has or doesn’t have. It doesn’t make you any better than anybody else. Real or fake. It’s nobody’s business unless you’re paying their bills. I think some people are just butt hurt by the fact that they spent $5,000 on a handbag and anyone can get LYXBAGS that looks identical for a few hundred bucks or less. Stop worrying about stuff that doesn’t matter.

Such a great review! I have a few bottles of the original vintage Poison formulation and absolutely love it. I also just got a vintage bottle of Dune. Dune is very unusual, but it has grown on me. I’m a guy, but I just love Poison and its flankers!

Theres no tube in there thats why it wont spray. Idk if u can replace the tube but thats the issue with the bottle in the vid. Alternatively turn it upside down and give it a pump or two then get 1-2 pumps rightside up but as of right now the atomizer isnt getting any of the juice

Or where to start without going out of my bag and frag zone here on YT. I live in a relatively rural area (by Japan standards), but perhaps it might still be interesting... And yes, the art is Rothko on the right, and the 2 at left are Murakami (the smiling flowers on Louis Vuitton) - not the originals, obviously! 😉 I have yet to try Patchouli Noir but i have a set of samples that I've not yet opened. I shall investigate! 😁

Try taking the cap off and turning the bottle upside down and using your finger nail, or maybe a pen or something, to push it in a few times. It may help to spray full sprays.

Thanks for the great review...London stores account members received a 5ml mini bottle at the launch of Giorgio..it was 1981 and the classiest scent ..and really expensive..my new one is 90ml for only £20. Back then it was up there with Chanel and Dior..if new today it'd be around £150..

No! It usually takes at least 6 months for new releases to hit the Japanese market. I haven't even seen a tease for it... Cheers for the heads up! Right now I am waiting for the 4 amber scents to be released. Any opinions about those? I also want the pistachio fragrance, also releasing soon here...

Green tea cucumber is fantastic. One of my top 5 perfumes ever. It's so fresh and yummy without being sickly sweet or citrus. It's perfect

I think it's a bit outrageous for people to be walking around a big city with a $10,000+ designer bag on their arm, you might as well hold up a "please rob me" sign. Secondly, I really don't feel sorry for these brands, they raise their prices at least twice a year, so basically they are driving any potential customers into buying fakes luxrul

Yeah, I am not a fan of fakes. Dupes, yeah, but not fakes. That said, I am so irked by the price hikes that part of me wants to get a superflake just to give the bird to the lux brands! I don't mind high prices for quality goods, amazing design, and reputable branding, but at the pricing now? They are laughing at us or just niching down to solely the top 1%, for whom the price hikes do not matter so much.

Thanks for the review. Although celebrity frags usually fall flat for many reasons, I can’t see Billie Eilish just signing her name on her frags. I suspect that she was hands on throughout the development. Well, at least I hope so because I adore her (and Finneas’s) artistic choices.

I love your pop music 🎶 quotes. These perfumes are nostalgic, yes. So was the background music (well done 👍🏻). The 'Red' is v strong and synthetic. Rich and balmy as it dries down. Floral and a teeny bit woody. It's ok. It immediately reminded me of my mom. I might just keep it just for that reason.
