Very disappointed the XRS-660 doesn't have a USB-C charging port as a number of my other handhelds have. If out camping, we don't want to add extra bulk carrying a drop-in charger, ...and misplace it! It is so convenient having a USB charging connection. Also, there's no place to install a lanyard! All my other H/H's have lanyard mounting points. I have wrist straps or lanyards on all the other radios, especially hiking through the bush for added security. A sad omission! Also, I have Bluetooth Speaker/Mics, but the PTT function I can't get to work. The speaker is fine.

The radio on the left is a fine design but retails for 1000 Euros! For that money I would not expect an Internet radio to need another device (eg tablet) to bring me internet radio stations. That is a huge cop-out. And 'connects to a sub via a bluetooth dongle'!!? You are kidding, right? This is 2005, isn't it? And if not, somebody please wake me up - or put me out of my misery!

I was planning to attend to ask specifically about the IOT Isolation and how it affects compound multiple device interactions (Alexa calls it routines). With the number of diverse IOT devices changing router, passwords or settings causes problems. I just bought a 2nd TP AX55 Router and the disabling of network usb printers means i still use the old one (powered off when not in use).

thank you Ben; one of the best presentations so far. i purchase the onn set recently but it doesn't go into detail about the stripper. not everyone is a ham enthusiast or employed and trained at a cable company. can you recommend a presentation that will go into detail about the numbers on the x block, which slot for which coax type; and how to more precisely set the height of the blades. The one i have wasn't set properly at the factory so i've been trying trial and error method to get it right, but not going well.
