Is it me or does runway do nothing in the 3rd one

Runway just adds a minor eye blink and some movement in the hair. But you're right, it's so minor that it feels like there is no movement at all!

I’ve had Luma do literally nothing at all multiple times. At least in this case Runway makes the character and background do something. It’s not much but at least it does something.

@@ghost-user559 That's interesting. I've had the opposite experience with Luma. It usually adds TOO MUCH movement more often than less. But it might also be related to the images I'm feeding it...

@@YalinSolmaz Yeah I do think the original image has a lot to do with how it interprets the camera and character movements. I’ve had the best experience with Kling now actually. Kling has much more “dynamic” and subtle movements, but at the moment it is lower resolution than Luma, so it takes me forever to upscale the scenes one frame at a time. Luma has given me some phenomenal scenes, but for every good one, it either gave me exorcist level of motion with jittery contorted horror scenes, or no motion at all lol. So Luma needs a lot of work for consistency. Kling is amazing thus far, but it’s new, and basic features like higher resolution are still being added.

@@ghost-user559 "exorcist level of motion" my fave way to explain Luma's tendencies now 😆

Sadly yes. But I think HeyGen can do longer lip sync by cloning your look. Not sure if that will work for you but check it out!

@AreyJones Thanks for the comment. It is built around episodes so it jumps around by nature. Also, we made this film as an homage to the French New Wave, which introduced jump cuts and non-linear story-telling. That's also why this was done in purpose. But, obviously, if I could have more time with it, I would have expanded it more for sure to clarify certain themes. We were limited to 10 minutes unfortunately.

I did not understand the point of the movie. it jumped around too much.

@BIGTURK213 It's about how changing one's environment doesn't necessarily equate to them making peace within themselves. The main character has moved to the US in order to live the life he wants, but he still hasn't allowed himself to live it. So, the short film tries to show the stages of change that he goes through in order to accept himself as he is. The main issue always is self-acceptance rather than social acceptance. Hope this helps.

@walkingkodi Probably not. I don't think it would have made it on TV. It's not that good! :)
