My only wish is that it was just a little more user friendly, don't get me wrong a lot of functions are logical but some that you want to dig into are not just a button away and you can spend 15-30 minutes trying to find one function, or if they are a button away they're unnecessarily mislabelled into terms you never heard before just adding to unnecessary overcomplication and you end up completely overlooking it because you would never think it's that, one example of that would be "harmony" which on this keyboard is called "melody intelligent" and there's more. You might think it's not a big deal but it took me weeks to find, I was looking for "harmony" everywhere, I probably thought melody intelligent was some intelligent melody recognition to aid you idk.... and even chat gpt told me it had the function but didn't know the name so I didn't know what I was looking for. I know how Roland's work as I had their synths before but this has so many features it can be a little overwhelming to someone who might not use it consistently. I think this workstation is better suited to someone who uses it every day whether work or hobby and average hobby once or twice a week user will probably be better off with a more generic Yamaha or Korg. If you like a challenge by all means get it, it is a really great machine that deserve patience and respect. I appreciate this machine and the minds that put it together, I'm not complaining by any means. I can't even begin to think how hard it is to program. I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to acquire one at a great discount.

Can anyone tell me how to turn off the onboard speakers, which are a pain in the ass when you’re recording?

I'm sure you figured this out already but if not then simplest way is to plug a jack into the headphone input.

Hey Justin, great job. There are a few things/settings that I cannot access and was wondering if you could help. I have been using Yamaha psr 950 series which are super user friendly, but Roland, no doubt a powerful instrument has a certain complexity. Await your advice. Thanks n cheers

Thank you, but it would have helped immensely if this entire explosion video would have been made in small different parts giving an actual demo of each section as explained. This would have made my understanding more simpler and clearer.

I have keyboard Roland ea7. I need ur help. I made loop style after which I played that style, the tempo is not adjustable. How to do that.plz give me some ideas.
@Spitaman13 жыл бұрын
Honestly speaking, I have one too, pretty powerful styles/beats, nice tones as well but it is an unnecessarily complicated instrument. What I mean is not user-friendly for a one-man show performance. Most of the tones are dry and when try editing it says sorry cannot edit this tone, secondly, the drums, bass, and accompaniments are not uniform, especially drum drops to a value of 58 when I want it on 102, and if you adjust it once and change the style or the tempo it jumps back to 57 or so. I saved my settings on a USB but the problem lingers. Plus there are no tutorials online and if there are they are in some foreign languages. Is there any help available please? Thanks.
