Ive been looking for a good spot for base for over a week. I find this video and say okay wow.. I grab my tools and things Id need to start a new base and begin my journey on foot across the map as I am still new and only have a few hundred hours into the game.. Once I arrived it say restricted area.. No more bases in caves... Damm.. I would have failed anyways because I already had a flag up and I guess you can only have one. But the base was raided so I thought I was good to go. Thanks for the video and ideas anyways lol...

On official servers they add restricted area into caves few updates ago, now you can only build in caves on private servers or in single player mode.

Sorry for late response, but in Scum people go everywhere. On Pvp server you can find people where you think they will not go. Trust me and mine 4k hours lol. Cheers

I have 350 fame, 75k account balance, advanced engineering. Everything except the engine, alternator and battery are installed. Yet for some reason, the option to install the engine in the Wolfswagon that I found is greyed out and only says "Buy WW Engine." I've gone as far as rebooting my game, Steam, and my computer. I'm playing in singleplayer. Any idea what the problem is?

Nice video. One tip. never use Trader to repair vehicle parts. As your looking for vehicle parts you will find free vehicle repair kits that take 1 use per part when you use car jack.

Thank you for the tip, i just show in the video what people can do if they don't have repair kit. And repair at mechanic is not expensive, just to repair one door is about $190 (depends how much people are on server) what is not too much.

Whatever. Z1 is OP. Tons of Military loot & tool boxes (screw drivers) and warehouses at train. City has tons of tier 3 building mats. Windmill have great car spawns. Abandon bunker near by. Trader 7 min drive. No one likes living in Z so airdrops are easy. Best Gas station / Garage combo right there. And the cave is cheap as hell to beef up and keep a low profile.

C1 cave is my favorite you can fit a 3 story structure inside it. It's unfortunately occupied on my current server though

They can't jump in, only on wires and spikes who are attached on top of wall. And put mines around your base, be creative.

Honestly i wanted to confirm that it worked still and wasnt patched. Dont want to lose an item I'm willing to doup. Will still try on some trash first though cant be to cairful. Infinite hard to get items here i come.
