Never could find this Lp! Saw the picture in a french rock magazine, claiming it was one of the best of all times! I agree, and i'm still searching for the Black Kangaroo!

A lot of the big named groups of the time would not play alongside Strife because they got blown away by them,i saw them support Black Durple and they went down a lot lot better than them,,live they was the very very best, ask pple that was in the know.

Saw UPP supporting Jeff Beck(Beck,Bogart,Appice)..1974 Newcastle UK and a year later Newcastle Poly.I met them backstage after the gig..nice guys..they never got the credit they deserved, despite Becks support.

if this was the Pasadena gig, I was at that show! On a dark, overcast day like today, right out in front of Pasadena City College, facing Colorado Boulevard & the San Gabriel Mountains, with SugarCane at far right, the launched into this wild mix of music!

From even then (1973) completely off the radar, wonderful Charisma record label artefact of sound... for all intents and purposes, probably never stood a chance of becoming renowned either from being in the shadow of the other incredible artists and bands that made up the stable of musicians from this community, therefor limiting the monetary amount available to be used to push awareness of this group. Regardless, another entry from a seemingly endless list of creative groups unfortunately destined for the wayside of ignored recorded fabulous music,of which they have no reason to be there, for sure.

It's Frank Dimino, who later sang for Angel in the 70's. That album they put out in 68 was cool. They had a couple of versions of a song That featured different guitarist. Really interesting. I think they are both cool as hell.

Such a talented man who makes gorgeous music and has done so forever. He's gone radio-silent after a pretty big self-directed push on KZbin a bit back. I hope he's OK. Edit: I did a search and he's doing a radio show in his area and other music projects. He looks good! :)

Who knows...

@@tomtrana3449 I thought I might be the only one around who loved the album. It was an album which I gather had many major problems in recording. If my memory is right the original master tapes were lost.
