I used to get my haircut close to Tom's Restaurant. Across Broadway, I think. I believe the barbers were Yugoslavian. They spoke something that sounded close to Russian. First time I went, they hit my shoulders with the Swedish massager. Totally freaked me out. When I at at Tom's, I had to fear encounters with Lucy, AKA Moms of Broadway. She was a homeless lady who used to stand outside the window and make faces at people. Best not to sit by a window.

This happened to me. I had a court appearance coming up. My ex-wife said I looked like Charles Manson and suggested I get a haircut to look more presentable before court. She recommended a hair place she went to. I went there. Some Asian lady asked how I wanted my hair done. I don’t know if didn’t explain myself or if there was a language difference, but I ended up getting my hair bobbed. I rode home. One of my friends saw me and she started laughing. She said “You look like a lesbian!” I thought , “Well, that’s at least better than Charles Manson.”

I watched Ghostbusters the other day on a streaming site. Never really been a fan but thought I'd watch it with my kids. I was surprised how much swearing there was in it; didn't expect to hear the word d*ckless in a PG film (in the UK that is) and surprised to hear the shit word a few times. I remember Ghostbusters premiering on TV in the UK in 1987 on Boxing Day, obviously the swearing would've been edited out but don't think they used these alternative retakes in their broadcast, think they just redubbed over the voices or edited the bits out. I had the recording somewhere but I don't think I have it anymore.

I never thought this scene was funny because his hair obviously wasn't cut, it was just combed differently.

C’est même l’inverse puisque je fais un peu un panda. Avec la varicelle, si une femme était enceinte et même un homme était fertile je pourrai pas les rejoindre. Je serai en quarantaine. The old biddy in the cab is the late character actress Fran Ryan. She was in all kinds of classic tv shows. She played Mrs. Hunsaker on the Brady Bunch. She was looking to buy the Brady house when the kids haunted it to scare off prospective buyers. "You people sure do celebrate Halloween at a strange time of year."

I've got a similar cut, but I think it works for me due to a cowlick, whereas I'd never try Jerry's usual style. Funny how there's some styles that just work for some, but not for others.
