Yes boss after you programmed the fog ligth close the switch and remove the DLC connector

There are videos created by a guy named Fred Harmon (Angle ride videos) that details procedures for your year Goldwing, I think there are 12 cds in the package. I have used these for years and they work. The tech is old but the information is great.

It's interesting that there are multiple how-to videos on every GL1800 job with the exception of checking valve clearances and changing shims. Reading various forums I've concluded it's because they hardky ever need doing as long as you change the engine oil and filter regularly and use a premium spec oil.

Your rigth boss but the problem for this motorcycle is he park in longtime and the gasoline not burn in the valves now is melting to cause the valve is bend and damaged..
