In two weeks we want to do the same trip. Could you please provide a detailed description of the route, GPS points, etc.? I read that orientation is more difficult mainly between cottages. I will be grateful for any advice, point of reference, anything that can help us along the way.

@@MountaineeringMaxiWe want to sped three days including two nights at the mountain. Our planned route: day 1: Zinal -> Turmannhutte day 2: Turmannhutte -> Tracuit day 3: Tracuit -> Bishorn -> Tracuit -> Zinal We are worried about changes in the routes due to the melting of the glaciers.
@MountaineeringMaxi
@MountaineeringMaxi Жыл бұрын
@@mellanio3814 alright. Zinal -Turtmannhütte is fairly easy to navigate. From Zinal just follow the path north to col de la forcletta and back down the otherside. a few hundred meters above the valley you turn right heading towards the lake. 01:43 From there you should find the hut. Its just a hiking path witthou any difficulties as seen in the video. From Turtmannhütte you walk till "gässi" a rocky sektion. therre you turn rigth following manmade stonepillars. Cross the glaciar and climb the ladders secured by ironcables. There is a huge round painting marking the way. If you dont feel comfortable in climbing this sektion, you could walk around this black pyramidealong the glacier. After that there is a flat sektion of the glacier as seen on 04:00 there you want to cross from left to right. at the bottom there should not be to many crevaces. on the right side is a marked path going next to the glacier avoiding the biggest crevaces. (we did a shortcut there, which should not be doable at this time of the year.) at the top of the icefall you can see the hut and should be able to find the way to cabane tracuit. From tracuit to bishorn summit, should be a visible path on the glacier (look out footsteps on the glaciers surface) since there are around 50/100 people doing this sektion every day. Same way down. Back to zinal is basically just one endelss path gonig down. Not really a way to go wrong. It starts right behind the hut. here are my gps files of the route if it helps you as well as a very good map with the trail marked provided by sac www.sac-cas.ch/de/huetten-und-touren/sac-tourenportal/2147000273 www.strava.com/activities/9334390080 www.strava.com/activities/9334387349 www.strava.com/activities/9334385907 www.strava.com/activities/9334383034 hope this answers all your questions

@@MountaineeringMaxi Thank you very much for such a detailed description of your routes and food, gps etc.. We went on the exact same hike. I find the second day the most interesting because of the variety of the route. The weather was perfect, 3 days without a cloud, perfect photos and the view from Tracuit, it was burned into our retinas forever.

Hello, 🐦🐦🦩🦩May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED." God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin.Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?

@@MountaineeringMaxi I've been thinking about these shoes for a long time, how did you do in them? are they not too hard for passages where there is no glacier? are they comfortable without blisters?
@MountaineeringMaxi
@MountaineeringMaxi Жыл бұрын
@@terezalidmilova3296 to me, they are very comfy. Although this will vary from person to person. I am actually quite prone to blisters, so i did get some in them as well, but to a far lesser extend then i was used to. They actually feel not to bad on longer hikes. Especially if there are some rocks. Sure for getting to and from a hut, a trailrunner or a light mountainboot would do better, but i dont wanna bring multiple shoes for one hike as well as i do like the anklesupport at the final part of a tiring tour.
