During presentation Nikhil touched upon Rohini Nakshatra. In that very context I suggest him to deeply study the concept of " नौ तपा " (loosely translated Nine days of scorching heat eminated from Sun). In short the Entry of Sun into the vicinity of Rohini nakshatra is termed as नौ तपा . The declination of SUN while entering into the Rohini and other planets Moon to Saturn and Nodes placements in different arena of Nakshatra will enhance the proximity to the study. Like wise the 2nd study of रोहिणी शटक will lead to the ladder. In short the term रोहिणी शटक is called due to the entry of Saturn in the arena of Rohini Nakshatra. रोहिणी शटक is mentioned in Valmiki Ramayana depicting disasters materialising in Raja Dashrath reign. The chapter titled Earthquake is although quite fascinating but at the same time very challenging. In my early days with astro book's, souvenirs and seminars, I had chanced upon some materials on this chapter in a souvenir published by ICAS Pune then headed by Shri SK Kelkar (Deceased) Vice President ICAS. The souvenir published 2,3 articles on earth quake authored by Shri SK Kelkar. Additionally, I recollect that Shri SK Kelkar ji had authored 2 books of his experience about earthquake study. I have also read articles on this subject in Astrological Magazine. Those souvenirs and articles would be of great help to the budding researcher. In addition to this I have a suggestion that Brihat Sanghita commentary by Shri Ramkrishna Bhatt is worth reading for related materials. My good wishes to Nikhil. Bhola Nath Shukla
