My G16 is my favourite 'Everyday carry camera ', I only have one major criticism about it, and that is the poor quality of the sound recorded when videoing. You get a background hissing noise that you can't do anything about. I don't use my G16 for videoing at all, relying on my Canon G7X mkii or V10 cameras that cope really well with sound.

Thanks for your thoughts. I remember when I was shooting youth-sports many, many moons ago, the photographers that shot Action-shots were equiped with the Canon 1Dx, while the rest of the photographers who shot cheezy portraits including myself, were equiped with the Canon 40D. From what I can remember, when comparing images from the 40D and the 1Dx it was like nigh and day ! The 1DX rendered the images much better, more colorful, sharper, more dynamic range, just better... Hmmm is there something Canon is not telling us ? I had my eye on this camera for a long time. At first I thought it was too bulky, but now I shoot weddings with a battery grip on my 6D and I hardly complain about the size or weight.

It’s a really old camera but the next to the newest camera that I own and that Is the Sony 5100 that I bought new for my social media output. Watching this with the thought of getting rid of my 5d classic and buying better glass for my g1 and Nikon d300 . The 5d is a great camera but I find its size overwhelming and it has made me realize that I’am not a classic portrait full frame photographer but not costing me a lot of money to have leaned that lesson. Few people want or need 40” prints. In your opinion what do you think about my plan on concentrating on just apsc , micro 4/3 in my personal use .

Hello David, how is the noise pattern in medium iso to high iso? Is it organic? Meaning is the grain pleasant enough for black and white photography? I just sent an offer to one on ebay; I'm hoping I can get this at $45; I can add this to my 6.1 mp CCD sensored DSLRs. I have a D100, and a Canon D60; I had the very first Canon xl silver plastic body; gave it to my dad a few years back, only to realize I had great memory with that camera, and awesome that I got one again for $40, which was too far from the first time I bought it at $1000 back in 1999. I can't wait to play with these 6mp DSLR especially with the array of prime and bright zooms I have in Sony, Canon, Nikon, and Pentax, and especially with my far more knowledge of photography. Part of the fun in playing with old equipment.

I recently bought a Nikon D600 for 250 € (24,000 shutter actuations) and paired it with my Nikkor AI 50mm f/1.2 manual focus lens. To speed up focusing, I use zone pre-focusing in advance. Additionally, I shoot with aperture settings between f/5.6 and f/16 because the sensor handles high ISOs quite well. This camera cost 2.000 euros back in 2012 and was widely used by countless professionals in their work. Professional quality at a laughable price. I must say that I don't use this gear professionally. It's simply been my first approach to full-frame format.

There would seem to be a great deal of mirrored passive-aggressive behavior. One alter becomes jealous of interactions and hides things the other one needs. I do wonder if it's possible for one alter to decide a relationship needs to end based upon limited information out of context. From my discussion with several alters in a system, I believe a common theme is parental narcissistic behavior.

Primes rules , 1.2 all day everyday !! zooms make u lazy not creative 👍🙏👍
@DavidCuhls19 күн бұрын
I think that depends on the situation that the photographer is in and what their priorities are. Sure, I use f/1.2 very often but that is only for my how I shoot. However, for some photographers, having the zooms will get them to more places and document certain stories that they might not be able to document if they were only bringing primes. Furthermore, zooming does not have the same affect as moving your body, so it's also just the photographer will still need to move to get the right compression anyway even if they are only using zooms. I hope this made sense and I deeply sorry if I said something wrong and/or have offended anything. I thank you for watching, I wish you a good time, stay safe and have fun shooting

We are concerned with the technical aspects of new cameras. Remember historically great images were taken with film and very old-designed lenses without any coating. No pixels were present.

Man you talk trash, 6d not good in low light? 6d central focus is better than 5diii and the colours are more accurate, you should do your homework better..
@DavidCuhls27 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching and also for your input. I am deeply sorry that my content did not meet you expectations, I will do my best to improve my future contents. Regarding the colours, yes, the reds and the greens are more saturated on the 6d classic than on the 5d mark iii but it doesn't determine which camera model has objectively better colour science/tones than the other. This is not a review by any means, but rather my thoughts on the camera based on how I shoot. I do prefer the 5d mark iii's colour science, colour rendition and colour depth more than the 6d's but that does not make the 6d a bad camera, far from it. Secondly, yes, the 6d has a centre focusing point that is sensitive down to -3EV and none of the 5d mark iii's focusing point has that level of sensitivity, you are right. However, when working at the lowlight level of the 5d mark iii's autofocusing system, the 5d mark iii's autofocusing system will be much more reliable and offers more reliability, practicality and versatility despite not having. Furthermore, though the 6d has slightly less noice in high ISOs in some scenarios, the 6d noise for me is a little bit more annoying since it is more colour noice than the 5d mark iii's noise character which is more desaturation grain than colour noise. Again, these are just based on how I shoot, I love both cameras very much and I was just sharing my thoughts in case some of my opinions (which are just opinions based on how I shoot, not based on being objective, please keep this in mind, as based on the title) may help some people out. I am deeply sorry again that my content weren't suited for you, I will de my best to continue improving my future contents. I wish you a good time, stay safe and have fun shooting

Just wondering why you would go to a photogenic location then shoot at apertures that blur out the background 🤔
@DavidCuhls28 күн бұрын
At the time of photographing, my focus was using the location to support to mood of the model and the portrait theme that we had rather telling the story of the location. Furthermore, using lower aperture helps to eliminate a lot of some of the garbage, construction materials and graffitis that would otherwise be a bit more distracting in the images. Thirdly, since the focus was more on the model’s expressions/mood and what she was wearing, the urban blurred part of the environment just helps to support the urban mood rather than being a secondary subject. That was my thought process at the time of shooting. Of course I would shoot it a bit different if I were to shoot again since my shooting style also changed. But I hope that clarified my thought process at the time. Thank you for watching, I wish you a good time, stay safe and have fun shooting ☺️
