The other thing to point out is the weight and luxury of the Bugatti, other +200mph cars are generally pretty light for what they are, but the Veyron has Rolls Royce levels of comfort and quality. 200mph in a Pagani, or Enzo (as lovely as those cars are), is like sitting in a tin can in comparison.

Ron always cared for frances in his own crazy way and in a weird way they understood each other better than reggie understood them
@lightchamber2186Ай бұрын
they need to give the gay man some redeeming qualities, in reality Ronnie never like her and was jealous of her and gave her the pill to die which he told to Reggie in prison, but hollywood can't have gay people who are completely evil.

How to tell U dont know a lot about the veyron, go see video of the test driver going full gaz on a track, yes it's not a track car but it can't do a quick lap
@qx4n9e1xpАй бұрын
When he described the "emotional bond" and gaining a respect for the car, that's how I felt about a challenger hellcat I borrowed. That car imprinted on my soul, even though I'm the type of person that prefers a more track capable, lightweight car. I can't even begin to imagine a hypercar like s Bugatti.

Funny how one man got arrested in the UK for damn near going 200 miles an hour on a public road But this guy thinks that a little Bugatti would beat it? If he had more time and didn’t get arrested that GTR would have hit 200 ez

EV only for rich people is outdated BS. Considered byuing used ID3 or used Golf @ ~€20k. One would cost me €300 a month to commute to work the other around 50. How is guzzling gas for hundreds a month better than plugging in overnight in my driveway?
@Chu3kN0rr1sАй бұрын
You missed the point. Not everybody has a driveway and a charge point.
@Jolle187Ай бұрын
@@Chu3kN0rr1s The point made was “electric car IS ONLY for rich people”. There are plenty of expensive apartments and plenty of inexpensive houses with driveways in the world. Having access to a driveway is hardly something only the very wealthy can afford.
@ChemiiOneLegacyАй бұрын
Because your batteries will gradually do less & less per charge, eventually die and it'll cost more than the car is worth to fix it.
@Jolle187Ай бұрын
@@ChemiiOneLegacy Proven false. Initial degradation is high but it flattens out. Human induced higher degradation could make it so, but that is equally true for poor maintenance of an ice vehicle. Recycling value should be high in the future to encourage people to trade in old poor performing vehicles for more efficient newer ones.

@@Chu3kN0rr1s The point was “only rich people can afford evs”. There are expensive apartments in cities with no parking - bad case for ev, there are inexpensive houses in the countryside - good case for ev. Having a driveway is hardly only a privilege of the very wealthy.

Yeah man. I've been a fan of Chris for over 10 years. He is ep is how I found out about JRE, which was how I found out about Joe (although I did watch Fear Factor as a kid), and Joe was how I discovered lots of other things - and who inspired me to actually try stand up after writing notes for years. Well….BMW, Audi, Porsche and Mercedes all dumped diesel like a hot potato after diesel-gate. Which was short-sighted given their lead in this area. Diesel is still the best way to power a heavy SUV. Then, they all ran to court the Chinese market and set up factories there. In so doing, they gave away the farm for short-term money. Short-term because the Chinese will throw them all out at some point and the farm because now the Chinese know how to make quality cars. On top of all that, they’ve all run towards hitting EV targets that throw them into competition with a China that has fully committed to this market from inception and has an early lead. The European manufacturers have written their own obituaries if you ask me. They all make similar cars now, they’ve all diluted their brands, they make cars for a Chinese market that often aren’t as appealing to European buyers and they’re vulnerable to the political vagaries of the CCP.
