Makes sure you change the oil and clean or replace that needle and seat in the carb. The engine will flood with gas, thinning the oil, and wear out the engine really fast. I personally would rather the bike because 6k miles is like brand new for a cruiser. But you might use the quad more. Love the channel man!!

Thanks for the comment man. I was able to sell the quad as is for some decent $. I just don’t have any use for it around my place. I wouldn’t mind a nice EFI 4x4 in the future tho.

I bet you could take carb to the kitchen table & do good cleaning & be good to go ! Crazy Ky got 11inch of snow & you guys are bare lol I looked & 2500 miles is nothing for that Yama ! Those miles are a lot easier than the 5800 on my ole (untouched) Raptor has ! Spring is coming!!!

Actually as I type this I was able to flip the wheeler for some good $ lol. I just have no use for it and I have my 24’ raptor to pay for 😂

I think since you already have a quad it would be nice to keep the bike for road riding (that’s what I do, one for each) but tbh bikes are dangerous cause dumbasses in cars are busy on their phones while driving. You did the right thing as a husband and father, plus in your wintery state it’s nice to have a 4x4 and it’s more usable than a bike

Facts, I think with EFI it would be a top seller right away and make Yamaha actually upgrade there lineups and have a true competition.

@ polaris is selling the xp 1000s for 18k and honda couldn’t revise the 700XX design and compete for a lot less? Absolutely. They could also throw that 700XX motor in a raptor 700-esk sport quad chassis and compete with the yamaha 700R. Could take the current CRF450R motor and throw it in a racing-inspired, long-travel, wide-stanced 700-esk chassis to compete with the YFZ450. Honda then needs to allocate some advertising budget and create some sick commercials aimed towards younger riders. Yamaha and Honda STINK at trying to get kids into ORV motorsports. Zero advertising.

Love the videos guys. Reminds me of when me and my buddies got together every Sunday to ride. Then we all got married, kids and riding land got bought by out of towners. You guys got beautiful property. Hope to see more sport quad videos in 2025. Still have my honda trx450r i rip after seeing you guys ride. Lol

Honestly in my opinion. Besides the absolute ultimate race machine. The "ktm450" the suzuki LTR was imo the best out of the big 4. Kawi,honda,Yamaha. Best motor out of all, best handling, best looking, awesome suspension. Just a killer machine. Kawai was more a woods bike. Yfz were and still are awesome machines. And the trx is a good bike as well.

Big 3 is a big game changer...I went with FCI, Cuervo AIS delete, Rossier R5, and Vortex ECU on my 2022 R SE. Also added Hyper tech carbon 3s wrapped in thr maxxis Rzr2 and boy do they hook. Finally feels faster than my Banshee 😅

@@lifeatv Im in Canada we only get the blue 700R. Ive already ordered a precision elite steering dampener and a set of pro taper atv high bars, xfr 6 pack rack. Will break it in and get used to the stock power before doing the 3. I also need to find out what I can get away with. I will be insured, plated and doing some trail runs. I just want something a little more aggressive than stock. For the most part I will be in the middle of nowhere but we do have a lot of patrols etc near towns. Cheers!
