Maybe she has put on a bit weight here for the first time since her dramatic weightloss 22-23 years earlier - her cheeks are more round. Or perhaps she has just aged, she was 52-53 years old.

Possibly. Her cheeks are slightly rounder than during her concerts Tour of early 70s. She looks older, like a very well kept woman in her 60s.

Traducirte todo es imposible! Si clicas abajo de la imagen donde esta esa "flor" (Settings o "Impostaciones" en español?..) después clicas en "subtítulos" y escoges Spanish o Español. Asi te hace una traducción simultanea aproximada.

Callas forever! I am Italian and Callas not only speaks Very Well but tells Very Intelligent and interesting things . I think she had the PERFECT ear and memory , so that she could pronounce perfectly ( nor only when singing ) and memorise words and terms in an Amazing way

At this stage of her life (one and a half year before she passed), her Italian was a bit rusty. She always did some mistakes when speaking Italian even in the 50s when she used to live there. She had a strong Veronese accent which she most probably got from her husband and from living in Verona the first 7 years of her Italian life. When singing, more than perfect pronunciation, she had the ability of sculpting words, better than most Italian sopranos. And doing that being a Greek American woman!

Yes, it's Italian, part of an interview for Italian TV. one year before she passed away. She spoke fluent Italian of course. If you click on Settings on the bottom of the video you will see the possibility to have subtitles in English

Cet accompagnement orchestral-là dépanne mais laisse à désirer, notamment ici. Pour d'autres airs, ça passe un peu mieux (si j'ose). Pour une telle voix, j'entends. Bravo anyway.
