Frankly We don't like to see too many foreigners in Vietnam . Most of them are actually taking advantage of the very affordable cost living , the beautiful scenery , the kindness/friendliness of the locals and the safety of the country . Many of them are even working under the table and not paying income tax to our government and then they complain about the laws/regulations that don't fit them such as visa runs , driving scooters/cars only with proper driver's license , heavy penalty for breaking laws , etc...which are existing everywhere in the world . Are the foreigners allowed to stay in Europe , America etc...without proper visas and permits ? Many foreigners in VN are badmouthing our country and people but they still don't want to leave . That's a shame ! The Vietnamese government should do like Donald Trump regarding the illegal immigrants here .

Noise in DaNang is the worst. My An can be the worst for noise at night. Go to the loud noise places only if your want to totally destroy your hearing! The restaurants at night have bands playing that can be heard six blocks away. It is impossible to relax in the area! near the Raon and the Ven Yv Hotels. The band are absolutely horrendous! Do not stay in these areas.The area is about four blocks from the beach. It is also near Mia Restaurant and Bar.

Luckily I stay up high on a 43 story building. I'm less than a 10 minute walk from the heart of an thuong but without the noise.

THats why I really enjoy living at Muong Thanh on the top of a 42 story building. I sleep like a baby and hear NO NOISE. But yet I'm still in the heart of an thuong neighborhood.

If you are staying in Da Nang then you may keep your shop open but if you are going back to the country, you will close a few days early to travel.

How does the Visa work in Vietnam? Do you have a long term visa? I’ve heard you can leave every 3 months and come back to renew it but I’m not sure

Yes I leave every 90 days. I get on a nice chartered bus, and leacee for the country of Laos at 6 am and return back to da nang at 6pm the same day.
