I sanded mine...i should have used the heat gun lol

Well, the heat gun only worked on the clear coat and the color coat. I had to use my belt sander to get rid of the primer/sealer...

Conceptually my dream guitar... I prefer 1) comfort cut 2) belly cut 3) humbucker with coil split 4) fretboard inlays removed.

Yeah it’s a nice one. Great for some gritty rock and even some cleans

What kind of oil finish is that? Is it similar to boiled linseed or tru oil?

It’s a product very similar to tru oil

@@badscrew4023 nice. Tru oil is my favorite finish on guitars, especially necks. Ive done 5 complete guitars and 2 backsides of just the necks and it just feels so good. Nice and slippery. Im really close to pulling the trigger on a Benton DC to customize.

@@GabeHelma initially wanted to strip and oil this neck too but deciddd against it. This one feels pretty great as it is. Don’t know what finish is this but it’s very slick, doesn’t stick at all. Blue neck on a red body looks funky too :D
