I know I commented recently on the other song, but I facepalmed when I saw this was already uploaded here seeing as I didn't even need to comment that in the first place lol. But this is absolutely beautiful, nonetheless.

Imagine hundreds of thousands of players lost in the nether, a million hardcore worlds ended by pigmen swarms and supermassive lava lakes. A generation of players discovering how to play this game. The new nether is great, but that feeling of the old one might never come back.

You walk through a beautiful, living, light filled village. The villagers and players, interacting with one and other. You look around. An iron golem hands a young child a poppy. You look up, the bright, twinkling starts in the night sky, light up the world, of millions of blocks, waiting to be explored. You walk with your long lost friend, into a house, your house. You lay down, look up at the ceiling, and think about the amazing things you did today. You close your eyes. *wake up*

I remember when me and my cousin would play Minecraft nearly everyday, no matter how far or close we were, being that we lived a state away from each other and I would only see her when I visited my mom who lived in the same state as her. We had so many worlds together, just exploring, building, and discovering. When herobrine was alive she would always say she saw him, I believed it and it kept us searching for him. Each worlds first night was a thrilling experience, being thrust into a sea of mobs and chaos, we were almost never prepared and it was fun that way. I also recall the mega structures and large towns we would build, we will find a village and then we would remodel and rebuild all the homes, we would build walls to keep them safe, we would make the terrain more accessible, and we would add lore or a story to why the villages all looked so unique, if the village was in the plains we would make it look like a German village, if it was in a spruce biome we would make it have a Viking theme, if the village was in the tundra it would be Japanese themed, if it was in the desert it would have an Arab theme, and so on. I remember the pets we would have, she would have horses and make stables for them and I would have dogs and make them their own rooms. It was always just us two and the infinite world, which could be either scary or calming. That was when we were younger though. She is in college now and I’m in the middle of highschool, time has become a finite resource and I regret deleting all those old worlds we made along the way. Anyways, make the most of your life, it’s short so live in the moment and don’t forget the good times you had along the way.

Thus sounds and feels like the end of a long awaited journey. A journey with many highs and lows. Creation of new friendships, the remeberance of the lost. A cheerful yet sorrowful tune. A bittersweet melody to play at the end of your journey as you look back at all that has been made in your travels. You sit back with all of your friends and loved ones all around you as you watch the sun slowly dip down past the horizon. The day is at its end. But your story still continues. The adventure you partook may be over, but your story still goes. Perhaps you may end up building and aiding in the creation of another's own story? Whatever it may be. But for now, you and all of your friends can sit back and take in all that has happened. Relax. Breathe. Enjoy the sunset. Rest now my friend. You have a big day tomorrow.

I drift away in the dead of darkness, to find what I'm looking for. The great Red Star, as she sits silently upon the universe shore. As my soul departs, I lose track of time. But the construct, means nothing to the one that is mine. She gazes at the stars, in solace and wonder. The lives beneath her, go round and round and fall silently down under. As lights fade, they always come back. Yet she remains unphased, untouched but watches and keeps track. She longs for a life, of beauty and grace. An experience of a lifetime, that only dreams can truly place. As I drift further from my body, I lose a sense of self. One that was driven, fueled by the nature of a world that never saw me. But while there is sadness there is a sense of peace, it brings my soul to health. Relief flows as worldly chains dissipate, and I become free. I feel the lighting of the stars, as they glisten in the ocean. Only for a brief moment, do they relieve me of my loneliness. I see her, the great Red Star, moving in slow motion. I try and reach, with faith of freeing her of hopelessness. She sits here in the dark, far from all life, against her true will. Wishing for something, to bring her comfort and love. Alone and afraid, she watches us go, wanting a life that she can fulfill. Can that dream ever come? Is it the will from above? I try my best to reach her, but I am pulled back. My soul cries out for her, as become further away. I awake to this life, a life far off track. And realize my agony, as I'm awaken to a new day. So the Red Star sits humbly alone, watching life go by. And I feel the same, each and every day. I wish it, for the time that I die. So I can bask in her light, in her love, with no dismay. But that may never come, this might be true. So I'll stay here, wishing, waiting, hoping to be there one day with you... This was my favorite track as a kid, playing this in the nether. Now I listen to this, wanting to be far away from here, lost in the solace of the universe.

I just love the fact that these comments are so nostalgic and poetic in their own way. To me, the song contains a story about past events that happened in the nether before us, the player, enter the world. It almost sounds like a battle at the starts, because of the screams. Then you hear a very loud scream and the other screams slowly start to fade away. To me, this is a battle between the inhabitants of the nether fighting off a creature that was torturing them for years, and this melody follows their death. Peace as they know it is restored, but there are still threats, as it is the nether. (I don't know if anyone cared about this explanation, but it's just a thought I had in mind)
