Hey man, purchased your presets, its awesome. But lightoom is dead. Using your false colors converted to icc profile, and rest luts work better when first I apply camera dcp calibration, then convert to tif, and then apply your luts. PS also sucks for this because there is no lut browser

great tutorial. Just curious why not also do your secondary corrections upstream of the 709 conversion prior to the lut while also in the wide aces color space?

OK guys, may be a stupid question but I am struggling with colour grading, not so much correction. I have not worked LUTs out just yet but I wonder... I have a Sony 6400, I never start with footage that looks like this. Is there a reason? And should I be using different settings when recording to enhance my finished product?

I've tried to convert loads of cube files to VLT and saved to the root of my SD card, but when I go to the V-LogL View Assist menu in my GH5 they're not showing up.

What was the picture profile on the sony? Im assuming there was a base grade first then the LUT applied after? These look great btw!

Can somebody explain to me why the ungraded shot is deliberately washed out? Seems to me that if the original footage preserved more natural color, there would be less work to do in post...?
