Our stainless steel Vitamix container blade lasted 3 years and is “NOT” removable from factory, beware! It was out of warranty by 2 1/2 months. My wife spoke to rep and manager and they apologized and said we have to buy another container for nearly $200, ouch!

Which model is the stainless steel cup compatible with? E10?, 5200, ACCENT 3500?
@MorpheusMushin Жыл бұрын
The 48-ounce stainless steel container is said to be compatible with “all full-size Vitamix blenders”. See: www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/shop/accessories/48-ounce-stainless-steel-container That appears to include (but is not necessarily limited to) the Ascent series, the Explorian series, and “Legacy” blenders with the specific Legacy blenders found on this page: www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/shop/classic-blenders My personal model is the A2300 (Ascent series) and the Stainless Steel container works fine on it. There is also an Ascent Series model (the A3500) that comes with a stainless steel container as standard found here: www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/shop/a3500-with-stainless-steel-container Note: I do NOT work for Vitamix nor am I associated with Vitamix in anyway. I am just an ordinary consumer who happened to purchase one of their products. All the information I am conveying I found on the above-mentioned websites.

the best part of this video is that robert doesn't reply to comments from slingshot people that tell him he is a newb ,.........total newb move to ignore more knowledgeable enthusiasts.....he then only replies to adoring and thankful fellow newbs ... he will one day lead all the newbs to the fresh hell of newbyism where noone knows what the fffff they are talking about........he tells us what the contour areas on the arms is for and then operates the slingshot to demonstrate and doesn't use the area on the left arm.....my four year old is going to start making yt videos after watching this ......she says posers are ruining her sport, and gave robert a dislike

Yes, this is really interesting and so helpful. I'm a bit surprised that I can see your tongue between your teeth for the /l/. Normally I teach students to only put their tongue between their teeth for the "th" sound, and to always make contact with the tongue behind the upper teeth. I'd love to hear your take on that! Thanks
@robertw.gordonesq.34353 жыл бұрын
Hmm. Interesting. I just tried out your method to put the tongue behind the upper teeth and that seems to work as well. I think I had my students visibly put their tongue between their teeth so that I could actually see what they were doing with their tongue. Otherwise I had no idea what was going on inside their mouth and thus could not correct them. I think though, a key is the "smile" since it helps Japanese people to "freeze" their lips and thus not move them to make an "R" sound while trying to make a "L" sound. (Sorry for the time delay in my response, I don't think KZbin sent me notification of your comment, so I'm just seeing it now, April 23, 2021).

@@robertw.gordonesq.3435 thanks for replying. No worries about the time delay. And again, interesting! I stand by my method of keeping the tongue behind the teeth (so as not confuse with the "th") but your tip to have them smile is a gem. So good. Thanks again! @TweakyourEnglish

Hi just got into slingshots recently. I bought 2 scout lt for me and my 9 year old son. Would you recommend another set of forks for him or is the scout ok? Also appreciate the video have been firing over the top but may switch to side after watching video. Thanks and happy shooting
@robertw.gordonesq.34353 жыл бұрын
I think it all depends on the size of his hands and what feels comfortable. Thus you may want to experiment with different sizes. There is a new model out called the "Scout LT" (for "Lite"?) which seems to be a bit smaller than the regular Scout and now the regular Scout is called the "Scout XT". There is a video comparing the two found here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJCsloiie8Z2a80 (Sorry for the late reply. I don't think KZbin sent me notification of your comment when you posted it, so I'm just seeing your comment now on April 23, 2021)

Incorrect. Which way points forward depends on your grip. For pnch grips the swell is in, for hammer its out. This is all on the Single Shot website.

I received my Scout Slingshot it came with BLACK flat bands all the videos I have seen like this one shows brown flat bands what's the difference? The BLACK flat bands look thinner and cheap.
@MorpheusMushin6 жыл бұрын
The black bands are a new type of latex the SimpleShot company uses for its slingshots. They are actually supposed to last longer than the pure (white) medical latex bands and or Theraband gold bands. When I originally made this video, they had not started selling black bands at that time. I am showing Theraband Gold bands in my video. However, I use black bands now as well. See the video kzbin.info/www/bejne/pX_LZYGwa9Vpqc0 for more information on black bands.

I know it's an old video, but your left band in the OTP setup is needs to be flipped 180°. They should form a V when pulled \/. Yours are both //. /\ is also incorrect. This will mess with your accuracy in the long run. Just a small detail that should hopefully help others too. Cheats.🍻

Very good! Thanks! Now I could help then with "L" sound.. :) They say ( Rinda), instead of (Linda)! Very difficult for them, they have no "L" sound in Japanese language. . A man tried to say to his colleagues at the meeting.: "I agree" but could not pronounce it ... so he said... "I uglee" to emphasize his weak "L". (It came out of his mouth: "Ugly"); People were shocked with the surprised - big eyes :) :) :)

What's more accurate over the forks or on the side?
@paulwin90368 жыл бұрын
What works for you is the best
@MorpheusMushin7 жыл бұрын
Neither one is necessarily more accurate than the other. Use what you are more comfortable with. I shoot horizontally (on the side) because I can then use the Phillips screw in the left prong of the fork to aim using them like a cross-hair by placing the screw over the target as a point of reference. I also seem to get more leverage and control over the forks by using that position. Accuracy (getting the projectile to hit your intended target how you want and when you want) is based on other factors such as 1) calculating distance to the target and accounting for projectile drop (the curved path the projectile will take towards the earth once it leaves the pouch) and then aiming your forks upward to account for the longer distance to be covered by the projectile, 2) “ball to band” match (i.e. different band width are meant to be used with different weight projectiles, just getting that match correct may affect accuracy as well, see kzbin.info/www/bejne/aIDOh2l7nZuhesk 3) calculating your “active band length” and cutting your band length to your proper active band length [length of the bands at rest] based on your “draw length” [length of the bands when stretched in your particular shooting stance], See kzbin.info/www/bejne/jne6aqOkf5aloZo (active band length = your draw length divided by 5, in inches). 4) centering the projectile in the pouch, 5) hand-eye coordination (training both hands to align the fork and out-stretched pouch with the path your vision makes to the target), etc.
