An opinion of mine A non Arabs hifz can be stronger because when learning we pay attention to the sound and do more repetitions when learning etc But someone who understands the meaning does not learn as strong as initially they can memorise quicker due to the meaning but don’t go over it as often and paying attention to the meaning without realising mistakes as the recitation is flowing due to the meaning Allah knows best

One tip i would have brother though whenever you put the subtitles in a video, try to place a black background or of any other colour underneath them, that will make it look neater, that's just my opinion though, don't have to necessarily do that
