We call them scrubs in north of england different to a whip

Lolol the comments 😂 this is just a slight tweak dude. Not a whip or even a table top like people are saying. Keep shredding though! 🤘

Welp, I knew Narvikfjellet was rough but this looks insane. It's too bad that the built-up DH trail (starting at 11:34-ish) isn't maintained and properly marked and groomed. This could be really good with some work. The current state of it just looks painful and annoying to ride. Well done though, impressive riding and stamina!

Thanks! I had a chat with the staff and asked if they would atleast mark and give numbers to the tracks. Really hard to tell where you should go and which track you are taking when you are not a regular visitor. I think they could build a great bike park if they chose to go that way. There is not really many lift access places in the region.

Heavy rough terrain... What ppl dont realize is how much energy it takes to push the bike up there (even lift helps a bit) then manouvering it down with maybe 10-20% energy left, how big this rocks really are and how steep it is (all just always looks so quiet easy on the GoPro)... Thanks for this footage & Cheers!

Since you happen to be close to Narvik, do you know if there is a path from Rombaksbotn to Narvik or if you can follow the train track? I'm planning on some mtb bikepacking from Abisko. There is a path but you need to go around the whole mountain.@@fenrirmtb

@@esavirtanen6418 unfortunately I have no experience on long MTB routes. I've had time to session dh or enduro spots but not entire trails. Norgeskart and Trailforks could give you more info but my guestimate would be that most trails between Narvik and Abisko are meant for hiking and because their technicality are not really suitable for bikepacking, hardly even enduro biking without extra equipment slowing you down. Most of the terrain in this area is very rocky and there are constant ups and downs and cracks which make biking hard and unless you are travelling light and have a lot of technical riding skill the way would not be enjoyable. What I have done so far is set camp on a spot and then make day trips to different places but I wouldn't dare to go for a multi day bike packing trip concidering the terrain without scouting it first and doing research on the available routes. I am not saying its impossible but it all depends how light you can travel. If you carry sleeping systems and cooking equipment I recommend finding a trail someone has reviewed before. If you can go 1-2 days with light pack with snacks then sure, but in any case be prepared to push-bike. For day sessions I recommend Reinnesfjellet. It is near Narvik, you can camp there and the scenary is great. I have a video about that place aswell but you can find more vids in youtube that detail it better with drone footage.

Haha hey there! This is actually the run before, which I said didn't feel complete. There was more than one twist on the way down from hiking trails above lift lines - the video will need some editing because of that but I will post highlights later.

You need to have your rebound a little faster. The suspension is packing up
@fenrirmtb11 ай бұрын
Hey, you are definetelly right! This video was filmed for the purpose of helping me set up my suspension. I like the feel, but as you pointed out I'm constantly riding past the halfpoint of the suspension. I don't feel like it is a problem when riding, but I know that it is not good because there is no room for bigger hits during or after the rock garden. You can see my other bike had a little bit too much rebound and pressure, since handlebars kept pushing up from every impact. I got it set up after this video. kzbin.info2tn0bszpFCU Great point and I keep tuning my rebound. I think I'll add more volume spacers!

I'm a BMX racer and I tried doing this trick and I didn't move my handlebars back to forward and I fell (I was going full speed down a large turn on the top and started pumping on hills like these, and fell on a tabletop) classic BMX lol, I got hurt pretty bad and landed on my left hip, funny this is normal hips are smooth, my hips if you touch them, have like ridges on my hips, im pretty sure I chipped small pieces of my hip bones off..

I'm learning whips on mountain bikes and dirtbikes and Ik on dirtbikes you drive at an angle to the jump, almost going off it then lean the opposite way and it's pretty easy from that
