Great video! Also, thanks for clearly stating in the video what to do if it is stitched, i.e. super glue or ideally, take it to a local leather repair shop so they can shorten and stitch it.

Sure glad I found this video. I’ve thought ever since I bought the belt it had to be taken apart to reverse it. Just pulled it apart and spent 30 mins, prior to finding this video trying to figure out how to get it put back together with the brown side out. Great video and great belt. Thank you!

I’m on a new diet and have been losing weight and was just thinking I’m getting close to the last hole on my current belt and figure soon it’ll be time to order another. I looked at Hanks again and think I found my next belt in this model. Already own the Montana and love it! Awesome quality. With the $20 off sale going on I think I’ll measure mine up and order one of these in the morning after work.

A couple of suggestions. I could not get the bolts to go in with the 13/64 bit, I had to use a 7/32 bit and it worked fine. Also, if you drill a hole in each end of the slot for the buckle it cuts out much easier and looks better. Overall, great video, thank you so much for making it!!

On your website, you say to get 2 sizes bigger than jean size. I am a size 36 in jeans. So i should get 40 size belt? But your KZbin video says, to measure from buckle to hole on your belt and I measure size 35.5. Video says to round up to 36. Do i get 36 or do i get 40? Theres conflicting information.

Measuring overrides the 2 sizes. If you measured correctly with a current belt that fits you correctly from where the buckle meets the leather to the hole you are fastening the belt in then go with the 36. No worries though as we have free exchanges if needed.

I have been looking for a good leather belt for a few weeks now. I have a bookmark section full of all kinds of American made belts. Everytime I make a decision, I end up at hanks belts. I just purchased this belt. I was going to get the stitched gunber, then I saw this and was sold. A stitched utility would be cool too but I am satisfied either way. Mahalo 🤙

hey there, I'm seriously considering buying one of these. the main thing that has kept me from doing the purchase is my past experiences with fake leather belts - they were all cracking where they met the buckle or where they were bent. how is this material different? I see you've got a 100 year warranty on this, so you must be pretty confident about the longevity of the synthetic leather?

This won't be an issue with our belts. All made with full-grain leather and not leather by products like the imported belt. I bought the brown size 32 Montana bison belt. It's my second belt from Hanks. I am extremely proud of the quality to the fit and finish. I had my hanks everyday belt for the past three and a half years and it has been an amazing belt. These belts from hanks are well worth the money for what it is that your getting. I'm excited to see what the bison belt looks like after three years.

I made the mistake of buying one hank's belt. As soon as it arrived at my house and i picked it up i could tell immediately how good it was, ordered another. A few months later my 3rd is on the way. Thanks a lot lol. These belts are just too good. I have a crazy horse, gunner stitched and an old world harness is on the way. I dont think it's possible to have a better belt !
