Hii 👋🏼 No they didnt but i was only getting my KITAP visa. Maybe if you become a citizen you would need to do this.

Hi. May I ask how long the processing time for the Kitap was in Singaraja? We live in Lovina and I want to get my kitap this year… a little worried it will take many months, because I need my passport for traveling. KTP only can get 14 days after you get the kitap? I understood that right? 😮

Hey there, so sorry for my late reply! The processing was about 10 days I believe during which you have to leave your passport with the immigration office the whole time. It doesnt take too much longer than any of the other visas luckily :) All the best! Yes only 14 days is what I read online and I didnt want to risk it so I went within this time frame :)

Hello Bethany!! Nice video. I have to change the name of my daughter because of a mistake in her last name. You know her Indonesian mom has a last name A (the one her fathers liked for her) and I actually wrote a B name following the family name of my wife's father (which will be correct outside Indo). So I have to change her family name from B to A to avoid trouble if we travel outside of Indo (her mother won't be legally recognized in other countries)... What government office you suggest me to go to do that?

I would think you have to go to the civil registry office in your regency, same like I went to the Karangsem office in this video. It's the same place that they make birth certificates and I imagine they would do name changes here too. All the best!
