​i am not infallible but from what I understand and read that's about as fast as it can go given the reduction gearbox used for all the torque to drive it

Next time you visit the tank museum could you please ask the staff to return some of the sounds and lights in the trench experience. I really miss the old experience back when this video was recorded 2013. If it works, thank you so so much :)

What was the max horse power you got from it

4.6 Watts at 420 RPM which is poor. As you can see for yourself the dynamometer needs a bit more refinement and I didn't experiment with many different combinations of RPM and dynamometer resistance/brake so it should be possible to get more. Plus I'm not confident there was ever more than 25 psi at the cylinder inlet.

I've got one of those. It was my Grandads and I think it came from Germany. I thoght it was for sharpening blades but haven't got any blades to try it on. Its amazing what you can find on the internet...what would we do without it.
