My brother Vaughn said it all! I was 6 at the time we moved to queens. So My brother and sister remembers much more than I. But i do remember every room! Especially my bedroom, where the tooth fairy came! I remember the backyard! My father built a race track so we could race our hot wheels! I remember my first dog Blanche! And my first cat madam! Who was a stray that ran into our house. We decided to keep her. In fact we took her to queens with us! Blanche died! You don't want to go there! It truly awesome to see how beautiful the house is now! I occasionally google map the house. I'm always sad after seeing it. That will now change!

This was my family's home as a child until we moved to NYC in 1980. It once was one of the most beautiful houses in the neighborhood due to my father's craftsmanship. It was heartbreaking to see the photos over the years of how dilapidated the house had become. So glad to see it is beautiful once again! I got somewhat emotional watching this. I remember every room and what it once looked like. Playing with my dogs in the backyard when my friends and I weren't playing baseball. The memories of my childhood there are priceless!

It is never too late to be what you might have been. I see the beauty in this house while abandoned and even more so restored. ❤
