Not sure why you waste fabric doing this. Why not just cut small strips and sew together and get the same end result?

Love your accordion technique! When trimming the HSTs before pressing, do they get distorted when you press?

Your method is extraordinary. I have to admit, instead of looking at what you were doing. I was looking at your filthy cutting mat. I’m sorry to have said that. I also got distracted by all the threads and edges that were not straight when you showed us a finished square, again I apologize for these comments. That being said, your method is amazing and I definitely will order one of your trimmers because your ideas are wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

I was just introduced to your channel by Karen Brown of "Just Get It Done" on KZbin. Your accordion hst method looks to be fairly easy... I'll have to check it out. Really liked watching these three tutorials on how to do the accordion and cut them apart. Thanks for sharing. Blessings to y'all.

Found you courtesy of Just Get It Done Quilts (Karen Brown). Great technique! I have quite a bit of fabric I can cut and make scrappy HSTs with whereas before I saw this, my scrappy stash was just building with nowhere to go. Genius solution. I also appreciate you and Karen’s approach to that 7/8’s triangle rule 😁 which is always a sticking point. Thank you! (Subscribed)
