Question for you, I'm 300 lb or 136 kg. I'm also 6'2. Will this be a good bike for me? I'm just starting off in motorcycles will you knowing my weight, what setting should the rear shock be? It's interesting that they don't have rebound and compression settings, but $3,000 hyper scooters do, like the solar popular in the UK

My Vulcan ass is in a solo configuration. It does not have the rear passenger pegs even installed or the brackets either by watching your video. I’m assuming that this is going to be a problem installing the three mounting bracket correct?
@TreesAndWheelsАй бұрын
Unfortunately, the 3P System requires the rear peg brackets for fitting. You will either need to get the rear passenger kit before being able to fit the 3P System, or find a different luggage solution. 🤔

Your videos are always helpful. My vulcan s was painted recently, Is there anyway that you could tell me which way the two fuel lines on the left side of the tank get connected? I think one is a fuel return and a vent maybe? Or an overflow and a vent? My tank is marked with a blue dot on the left side underneath the tank where the hoses connect, but neither hose is marked to indicate which hose connects where. One of the hoses runs down through the bike and out by the kickstand, should it be connected to the port on the tank with the blue dot or the other port? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was hoping I could see it in your video but you just done inside the tank. This would make a good future video for Vulcan owners there is nothing on KZbin about the placement of fuel lines. If you own a used bike like mine and the lines are changed it’s a pain unless you’re experienced with motorcycle maintenance.

Thats gonna scratch the paint if it starts that dusty.
@TreesAndWheels3 ай бұрын
If it was road dirt I would agree, but the dust on the bike is wood dust from sanding and output from a laser cutting / engraving machine, so it is made up of very fine particles and is "soft" dust.

Yes, I use Muc-Off Nano Spray (amzn.to/4fweFxM), I use a water spray bottle (amzn.to/3LSxU77) to apply the muc-off over the complete bike and let it soak in for 5 minutes, then I use a karcher K4 with the foamer handle (amzn.to/4dsKbuX) to spray the bike, let it soak in for a bit then rinse it all off. Finally I use a Bruhl Motorcycle Dryer (amzn.to/3Ac4uOQ) to dry the bike.

Great video Buddy, I am going to buy a Slack setter pro this week. I have a 2023 Vulcan S. this is first bike I have owned with a chain. All my other bikes were shaft or belt. So it’s all new to me looking after chain tension. I have a question if you don’t mind. When I’m home I can monitor and adjust chain when ever I need. But I will be doing some long trips with bike 2500 kms to 3500 kms trips. I’ll bring the slack setter with me. I’m wondering how slack is to slack?you mentioned yours was at 41 mm, and that was close to as slack as you would want. Would that be about the limit you would let it go? Just want to have general idea as when on road can be a pain to start adjusting chain. Thanks Buddy.
@TreesAndWheels5 ай бұрын
I never had any problems at that level of slack but I definitely wouldn't let it get any looser than that. I'd get it perfect before you set off... if it gets really slack while on your journey you would probably need a new chain.

Hi buddy, just about to install bags on the mounting system, quick question if you don’t mind, what is proper way to install bag on mount? I don’t want to break anything by forcing it. Do you have to move lever over then press down or just press down to lock in place. Thanks. Hope question makes sense to you.
@TreesAndWheels7 ай бұрын
Yeah, just hold it by the handle, hook on the bottom mounting point, then push down so that the other mounting points engage, then fold the handle down and it is locked in to place. 😎

Just letting you know, you don’t have to go that crazy with towels, if it gets on something it’s not an immediate reaction, it’s takes days and weeks of the fluid sitting there. Just have a paper towel handy and windex and while it up right away. And just a question why is it such low miles and sitting all the time? And don’t always believe those tools, a lot of them are gimmicks and a waste of money. Just use an analog test or a multimeter set to dc volt test and if it reads .3 volts or higher it will need to be changed. And just a reminder don’t go crazy with the towels, it’s not as bad as think it it is

Great video, thanks very much, I have a quick question if you don’t mind buddy? I’m just about to install mine, I’m not much of a do it yourself type so please bear with me if this seems like a dumb question,LoL. Was looking at the template for drilling holes on cover and instructions for doing the drilling, I find it a bit confusing, are both holes drilled to the same diameter? Appreciate you taking the time .
@TreesAndWheels7 ай бұрын
There are no stupid questions, it is always better to ask how to do something than how to fix something. If you look on the drilling guide template, there is a flat end and a rounded end. The flat end goes towards the front of the bike and the rounded end goes towards the rear of the bike. The hole at the flat end is a 22mm diameter hole, the hole at the rounded end is an 18mm diameter hole. (Check that your instructions look like this www.picbox.uk/shad/docs/K0VL65IF.pdf ) If you can, clamp the plastics down before drilling as they will want to move. Also, drill slowly so the plastic doesn't melt.
