You're right - self-watering pots make all the difference; but for me they don't work well with soil based mixes.

@PlantedInRI I have a few in soil but I allow them a period of drying out. So I decided to allow it to bottom water. I have a tray with water in there and I will see if that helps.

I don’t understand PON and Leca. How do you ensure the cuttings and plants have enough moisture and don’t get root rot. Thanks for mentioning the sap. I got nervous when I saw it on my plants 😮

I'm not into leca so much but PON (surprisingly to me, when I first started using it) holds onto moisture pretty well. You can use it in pot with drainage holes and water like you would soil. I love using it with self-watering pots with a wick to draw up the water. Questions like this spark video ideas, thanks for asking.

Hi Mona, Many thanks for this plant shopping video. I enjoyed it very much! Your store has a good selection of beautiful plants. I’m in Charlotte, NC and I went to one of our Lowe’s a couple of days ago. They had some good plants, but I already owned those so I went home empty handed. Probably for the best!🤣. Our Lowe’s didn’t have any houseplants marked down but they usually have sales on houseplants after the Christmas Holidays. Maybe this weekend they will offer mark downs.😊. Take care! 👌🪴🥰

Hi Mona, All these plants are lovely! I didn’t even know the Noona could look like that. I bought mine from a local garden shop and I think that at one time she was stretching for the light when she was there. I will put her in my Sun Room this Spring and she should do fine. She seems to be fine with the grow lights but I’m sure she will grow well this growing season. Best wishes to you and your family in 2025! Stay well and be Blessed! 👌🪴🥰
