I was so lucky to listen Edson Cordeiro singing Cold Song in a n event remembering Klaus Nomi! I liked so much , i searched for who was Klaus Nomi!! And is magic, so talented!!! To good to this world but also can.t understand why not spoken about!! He .s absolutely amazing!!

I'd forgotten about this old Lesley Gore song until I saw this, It's an amazing cover of the song and I don't know how I got here, never knew about Klaus, but he obviously has talent, it's a shame his life was cut short

Heyo I actually was! so lucky... worked w/ Nomi & watched his nearby apt. when he was away... received a cutting from his big houseplant... was signed to the same production company... took him a cassette set of Wagner's FLYING DUTCHMAN when he was hospitalized...Glad to see his 'cult' a-flourishing and keep imagining how it might be next century, with Klaus an unlikely [darkhorse] AI angelic Avatar/religious presence/artistic figure!

Im 55. Discovered him when i was a teen.a long long time ago...my family and i were in the world of all music. My mother was a contre alto ..she used to be against contre tenor..but klaus touched her heart and still her death she always fought he was the best to sing so complex music score...

Donc il fallait mettre le personnage de l'amante au masculin pour les filles, et au féminin pour les garçons homos dans leurs chansons. On trouve plein de chansons de ce type aussi dans les années 1900 avec les chanteuses et chanteurs du début de ce siècle qui devaient cacher leur homosexualité, alors que dans le milieu et dans la police tout le monde le savait, et c'était inscrit sur leur fiche de police par les Renseignements Généraux.

Enregistré la veille de sa mort. Trop de travail pour ce disque, trop de fatigue, l'excitation d'aller voir son disque dans les bacs, mais une grosse envie de dormir, besoin de somnifères pour dormir, hélas la dose était trop forte cette fois.
