8 times out of 10, yes. Sometimes it is a spur of the moment because I happen to be area or I need to get to be at the station in order to get from school/work/home/errands

Currently trains only board on one platform regardless of the direction. Trains to Markham head north and trains to Union head south. If you notice that engine of the train is in the front when it is coming towards to you, this is a northbound train going towards Markham. If you notice the engine is attached to the back of the train, it is a service towards Union.

The service ended at that station so I think staff were getting ready to take it to the train yard or somewhere else to use it for another service.

Almost all Niagara trains do not stop at this station. They do however stop during the rush hour train from/to Niagara but it requires backing in and out as the tracks for the station platform have a dead end on one side.
