This was one of the rush hour express trains on the Kitchener line. Express trains do not stop at Malton, Etobicoke North, Weston, and Bloor.

@@tom-and-mom The purpose of the express service was for longer distance commuters who make the trip between work and home in Downtown Toronto to get there faster. Weekday mornings see express service from Bramalea to Union while late afternoon to early evening weekday trips run express from Union to Bramalea.

Why I can't come to Stouffville by GO Train ?

Trains from Union that makes a stop in Stouffville only occur during rush hour and very late nights. During most of the day the train usually ends at Mount Joy and you have to transfer to a bus service in order to get to Stouffville.

When is the Niagara Excursion train is less crowded and when is Niagara Falls less busy I plan to go in December

Usually I sit closer to the front or back of the train and find it to be not as crowded, even on weekends. Niagara Falls also appears to be less busy in the colder months, just not on the weekend before the holiday.

Usually the beginning of December is the least busy. Mid-December up to just before the weekend before Christmas week should be fine as well.

Great catch of 257. What’s the plan for daytime service to Stouffville for the go expansion program? I know they have weekend service outside of business day peak hours, but only on weekend nights once a day.

Great catch and horn. This is probably one of the best go station where you can guarantee horn action. What’s the plan for this station in order of the Go expansion program? Because roughly how often are they trying to get service up to between Toronto and Barrie?

Yes this station is one of the places with definite horn action. This station is not going to be double tracked but the plan is to expand all day service to this station and as far as Bradford.

I am not sure but my guess is that it is for the convenience of UP Express passengers to change trains at Weston for the Kitchener Line. Maybe they will start using it when they implement 15 minute service.

Nice ride. I took the GO train from Mississauga to Toronto. My aunt, who lives in the Greater Toronto Area, takes the GO train to work each day.
