@@AliensAndMusic I went all around australia, Sydney to Perth by plane, perth to cairns by campervan, cairns to somewhere north east (cocadoo national park too, might spell it wrong), then back to sydney by car. from 07/1999 till 12/1999, was great. saw melbourne, perth, cook town, fraser and magnetic island, the rum jungle...aw man. I was 14, met a cute girl from kununurra too for my first ever kiss. best country ever. all the best my man

You’re right!! Full disclosure, I love Tom…he’s a hugely influential figure from my developing years, so I give him a lot of forgiveness when he mimes guitar live…especially since a lot of their songs require 2-3 guitars overlayed, so I give a lot of grace to backing tracks coz I’d probably play with backing tracks too in order to give the full sound experience if I were in his shoes - having said that though, that part of the song is one guitar, and you’re right, he’s not even bothering! C’mon Tom!

Sure why not, I’ll probably do another blink song next, I’m thinking of doing Dance With Me but a better version…that said I’m always open to suggestions! Can always hit me with some songs and I can see what I can do 🙏🎸👽

Haha thanks, I decided to bend a note rather than play it verbatim - I like my covers to be close to the originals while having a little flair of my own too, hence the improv overlayed guitar in the outro 🙂

It’s also a song that I feel is easier for Tom to pull off well in a live setting due to its spoken nature - I also loved his goofy ‘Bigfoot’ walk in the beginning of the vid - I’m glad you enjoyed this!! I know what you mean…It’s hard for me to say, he uses Seymour Duncan in the starcaster and had dirty fingers in the gibson - but I get what you’re saying, maybe the slightly larger body of the 333 and 335 resonates better? To my ear it’s really hard to compare the SD and Gibson pickups, but I’m personally a huge SD fan so maybe I’m biased haha 🤘
