*The problem is very likely not the TCM itself (since the unit's circuit board is encapsulated in a thick layer of resin) but the prongs on the wiring harness. You could gently pop that plug stalk off (secured by a 8mm hex) pulling straight out taking care to not misalign the pins, reasonably clean and apply some dielectric grease or atleast something like Zep 2000 or at the least least transmission fluid. IF you are more ambitious, just remove the TCM, open (you will need Torx bits) remove the cover plate clean, derust, prime and paint white (coolest color if sun hits it, especially on 3rd Gen models [1996-2000] located on the Pass side fender inside engine bay, as electronics like be kept cool) and apply a RV roof and seam sealant dubbed Dicor 501 between the cover and the TCM case but also over under smearing on atleast a 3/16" layer using a nitrile glove completely encapsulating the tcm.* *Finally you might like to install the TMC itself in one of those watertight resealable food containers applying the Dicor to between the case and the mounting hardware on the fender where it is located. as well as the hole on the end big enough thru where you slipped the wiring plug. Lastly you could also snip the 29 wires about 6 in from the plug and add some color coded longer leads and relocate but this process is too involved for the layman. I also would apply 303 Aerospace Protectant or atleast the Zep 2000 on the wires themselves exiting from the plug. But no need to touch the other wiring part of the harness seen at **5:48**, just recure the wiring loom and friction tape if loose. This will "bulletproof" the TCM.*

For anyone watching this. Do NOT remove the red and blue plugs. Manual specifically states to NOT remove them as they are the washer side filters.

Consider a Speed queen, Bosch, or a Miele if you have the money. Otherwise look at Whirlpool VMWs(Hotpoint, Whirlpool, Maytag, or Amana), GE Profile, or an LG. If you can only afford another insignia, buy used.

tires are rotten look at the cracks in the sidewall
@MrPenobeАй бұрын
I would suggest changing those tires right away, or a flat is going to be the least of your potential problems. Those tires are so dry rotted, I can't believe that you haven't had a blowout yet. Also since you fully deflated the tire, you should have kept the Valve Stem out of it, Filled it, then replace the valve and filled it with air. Idk why you put it back in, but just a suggestion if you want it to work properly and easily.

I use the pressurized can variety...works on small holes. I carry a plug kit. This past week a piece of guys muffler bracket punched a large hole in my left rear.. put in two plugs in the parking lot..got me home. Then had a professional put a plug patch in. Good to go. nails and such the plug is all you need but this one was a bolt..too large for plug to safely hold.

Hahaha this is brilliant, I love how this video is presented as how to make custard the traditional/proper way, so we watch the KZbin man share his wisdom with us, and in the closing seconds of the tutorial he reveals that he himself is surprised that he didn’t actually BURN custard into his pot! 😂

What a bodge merchant. Twice over too. 1. What's wrong with spanners and crowfeet❓ using Moles like that on the side you're keeping stands a good chance of chewing up the nut and making things worse❗ and 2. why WD40❓ the WD stands for Water Dispersant, it IS NOT a release agent or lube. Use some proper stuff. The basis of the tip is good though and many will benefit from it.
