I really like that green/white on the panels, the line on the shield is exceptional! I think its the transfers and the darker shade because of the wash like you mentioned on the feet, other than that I think its really nice! Some little details that I think will make it pop a little more, get the transfers on there and I think you've got a great Knight there! That Keeper of Secrets is wonderful and if I could paint one like that I might collect Slaanesh daemons Not helpful I know but I love all your challenge videos. Would love to see two different takes on the same model or the same army box!

I'm so glad Poorhammer introduced me to you guys, your whole last month is in my Watch Later and you two seem like so much fun. As someone with two knights sitting already built (a mistake I will not make with my next one(s)) and completely unpainted, learning that they can be painted well in a (relatively) short amount of time is really nice to learn! So thank you for torturing your poor knight with that awful (it was so pretty, you're so critical of yourselves omg) paint scheme and letting internet strangers learn from your experience!

Just finished a sisters armies in the last year. It was certainly my most expensive army. It dosnt really have a good collection box atm your mostly buying individual pieces to get what you want. The old CP box really wasn’t great either but did get my rhinos I didn’t wanna solo buy

Just finished st. Kathy myself, I paint about a hour a night, took me 8 weeks to build paint and assemble. Looks fantastic.

Maybe do a kill team challenge next where you take a kill team box split it 50 50 in terms of terrain and kill teams and each of you has to paint the kill team and half the terrain with the same standard as youd normally paint a charakter model

That was a big old chunk of plastic. Great video and you can really see when the soul drains out of you both mid way through the night - still manage to keep it entertaining though and plenty of laughs. Great end result too - video still holds up

Amazing effort especially in the time given. I also watched the Boarding Patrol video as requested and that was a great time as I was painting my stormcast eternals spearhead.

The knight scheme is very cool, I think the main issue is that you put all that effort into shading/ weathering the exo skeleton but the panels are clean white and green. I have no idea how to weather the panels without it attracting to much attention, but maybe some pages from the more realistic effects that AK sells. Mud splatters or dried mud in general might be cool

As for the picks, guess I'm one of the readers who loves what you call a slow setup, and also, having human (and not post-human) characters be important. So my list would definitely include Mechanicum, Outcast Dead, Legion and the Thousand Sons.

See, the problem with the First Heretic is it almost went too far or just in the wrong direction with that idea of humanizing a Primarch. You want to see the human side, the flaws and perhaps even insecurities, but at the end of the day, Primarchs should still be impressive and formidable. FH made Lorgar look like a pathetic crybaby. Personally, I much prefer the image of Lorgar in the short story "Scions of the Storm". He comes off as a bit of a madman there, but a cool one at that!

I feel like Kieran should be hit with a point penalty for showing up without an appropriate beard.

Went about as expected. Left Kieran finds a way to incorporate creepy red/pink eyes and right Kieran contemplates the meaning of his life 😂

Idea for a possible next challenge: Paint something from another miniature company, like Para-Bellum. It could help as a pallete cleanser too so you guys don't get burnt out. Love your videos btw :D

I just finished painting my Chaos Knight in around 8 hours. It was very simple and was essentially just basing in gold and silver then covering it all in rust/grime. I could never be that perfect on a imperial knight with the half scheme and I think yours looks amazing.

Love what you guys do. In terms of challenge ideas I'd love to see you guys do squads in the same scheme but different time frames. For example a squad of 10 guardsman in 2 hours, 4, and then 6 just to see what differences you'd do with greater time

This series has made me realise I'm a very decisive painter where I start on a thing and just sort of know what everything will be before I've even started. Don't mean it to be a weird brag or whatever but weird to me when someone's like I've started this but I don't know what I'm doing about this bit. Big love for the keeks

Great job guys! Both models look amazing, especially with the time y'all had. I hope you'll be happier with the Knight panels after some transfers, Kieran. Personally, I think some battle damage would look awesome, too ♥ Smaller challenges sound cool. I'm a fan of variety, so the skirmish games have really appealed to me. Maybe y'all could paint up minis for a Kill Team or Warband over a day or a weekend?

For 12 hours, that knight is absolutely sick. I painted a wardog to not even as high a standard, and it took me 20.

Could you do a Herohammer style thing but it's a killteam/war cry box? Gives you a reason to go a little further on the models because they are all meant to be special but means no one is stuck trying to paint a knight in 12 hours.

Knight was all right but i gotta say you did a shockingly good paint job on the keeper of secrets! I think that was the best painted model I've seen on this Chanel! You add in the time constraint it's very impressive

When airbrushing with Ak Interactive Paints you need to put in a couple of drops of flow improver. With that they behave like every other airbrush paint.

TBKieran absolutely nailed that Keeper, looks absolutely stunning. SKKieran definitely bit off too much with that huge knight! The progress was amazing though. Pity he's not pleased with it.

A challenge idea for y’all. Truly original name that has no relation to any other channel. The Poorhammer challenge(would actually be budgethammer prolly). Each player spins to see how much money they get for the challenge. They then can only use resources up to that much( ie using the airbrush have to subtract what the cost of the airbrush would be) if the paint came in a box set you have to use the box set price but you could use all the paints in it.

Both are great, I am really curious to see that knight finished with transfers and perhaps a little bit of weathering? Kieran regarding your Keeper of Secret I love what you did with the skin and clothing, however there's an amazing opportunity to add a bit of color with all the gems you kept gold. Either a dark amethyst to complement the main color, or something different like jade or ruby.

Would you also consider dipping your toes into Old World? Or is there too little available yet to talk about it? I still got the Blood Island box at home with the sprues for High Elves and Skaven that they never rereleased afterwards. Am looking forward to work on it once I got more time on hand.
