Are you kidding? All the contestants are linked to American Idol if they make the top 50. That's why we never really see anything with any of the cast offs except for like the top 5. It's about 2 years, and then they are released.

Because he wanted to be a recording artist. Unfortunately, the recording industry is not very keen on signing musical theatre singers unless they just want to record musica theatre songs and that isn't what Adam wanted to record so AI was a way of getting the contract he wanted.

Precisley, Adam Lambert was Fiyero in Wicked ON BROADWAY for a year and a half. He is one of the "actual 2 ppls that sing that song on broadway". I have the playbill to prove it, I saw him in it.

Hey, I agree 100%! I was stunned when he didn't win... Chris was the "safe" choice for the masses, but not the correct one in my opinion. Adam has star power that A.I. has never seen before! I guess all the hopelessly average, marginally intelligent voters got scared off by his brilliance.

Adam let them train his voice for this song and he hits the notes but they ruined his natural voice. This I beleive. His voice does not give me chills. It sounds phoney. Falsetto thru out and it sucks. Sorry Adam bring your voice down a notch and use falsetto once. Can't you go from high to low and vica versa? Adam stays in the falsetto range , mabye good for Led zeplin and Guna and Roses songs which also screaming will not make a pretty sounding voice.

ahhh. i just saw Wicked in Jacksonville yesterday and I kept thinking, why can't Adam be our Fiyero?? :) Absolutely love him. He and Allison were the best Idols until Aliison left.
