Ross is using medium sling rings here but you might find large a good size for breaking in your baby wrap and making a No Sew Ring Sling. You will probably prefer a medium ring for tying off short ends of your wrap carry.

Yes, just follow all the safety protocols as normal. Keep baby's head supported, allow them to latch off as needed, don't cover baby's head. Bring baby back up and re-tighten as soon as you finish nursing x

Is there a time limit to how long you can have a newborn in a sling? Similar to 30 minutes in a car seat?

You can use FWCC at any age, we would recommend the newborn version for very small babies (you can see a couple of versions here kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYKwhn-feKx9jJo), but the version shown here will work well for a 2.5 month old.

Scoop up baby's knees and check the fabric is in the knee pits. Really make sure they're a nice deep squat to start with x

It is very important to note that in this video dated 5 August 2024, Hannah has used an original (before all the recent changes) Nook Encompass and is presenting some features (chest clip for example) that have been simplified at the beginning of 2024 and that little tab that went underneath the original Nook’s chest clip has now been replaced with just the classic narrow strip of fabric, the tab underneath being removed - so misleading for anyone who is not versed into all the changes you have made in 2024 to maximise productivity in your workshop. Also, the waisband of the Nook has been simplified in design and is now different than the one presented in the video, and again, the change is since March 2024 and the video being released in August 2024. So, all those little features that Hannah is mentioning and what made Nook a premium, luxurious carrier (matching the price tag) have now been removed, but the price increased over time.

Hi, baby wraps are great for older babies as well as younger ones, they are very supportive and you can adapt the carries you do to suit you and your little one.

You wouldn't be able to spread the top two passes properly if you were tying under bum and you do need spread all 3 passes with a stretchy or it's not safe. You could try the normal Front wrap cross carry (tied at your back) as you can spread all the passes that way
