@@mykosiv. I think Ruggles tried to overcompensate. If you go back and look at that 47 yarder he kicked from almost the same spot, it only cleared the bar by about 1 yard. He knew he needed extra zip on the 50 yarder and so he overcompensated like when you swing too hard in golf and hit a duck hook.

Man, Francois was a talented guy who could never get his head on straight and stay out of trouble off the field. On the field, he spent nearly as much time on the ground as he did on his feet...FSU's OLine was so, so, so bad...one of the worst in the country.

The o-line was def terrible at FSU for years. Seems like they’ve just recently been able to put one together. Can’t remember how bad it was this particular season but I know by the ‘18 season it was terrible. Landon Dickerson became a monster tho.
