Great job! I made a very similar one for my Ford but made it offset in the middle. It's reversible for small loads (hand tools, buckets, gas cans,etc.) Or larger items (miter saw, small table saw, or more smaller stuff). I used pressure treated 2x10 so it's sort of heavy. I like yours better! Lighter and the ability to lay longer things through it. And the anchor points! The clocking of the screw heads made me smile...welcome my OCPD Brother!

Great video however, how do you make the ‘bribe’ you’re talking about with the magnesium one. I live in 🇨🇦 have a high traffic corner sidewalk lot that gets no sun due to N facing & fence so by the time I get home, I shovel the show but left with a hard packed 1” ice under. Would the ‘brine’ you speak of work for that? Keep in mind our winter temps are usually 10f to -57f. I would really appreciate your advice & thank you in advance. Leah ❤️

If using coins and 3m tape, be careful because if they fly off they can break windows.

Thanks for writing. I did say that we were pleased in the description and that we will be doing a one-year review of the unit. So far, it's been good. We did some changes on it to make it even easier to use and service. You can check that out at kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2Kzn2hpfdp6bZo.

Hi DFJ, I have a question. I have a Cub Cadet bagging system and the hopper vent is clean. However, when bagging, I get a lot of ‘spitting’ grass that’s coming through the vent. Very annoying! The bags are properly on and the cover is closed tightly. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Lol. What got me was thinking the plate had to go upward but has to go downward. the plate has a slight tab where you push in. What helped is using a needle nose pliers and grabbed it. Then sliding it downward. did the trick.

What is the point of the shop-made jig if the bottom of it doesn't rest on your workpiece? You can even see around 6:53 or so that you have it angled quite a bit. The jig defeats itself because the spring and nuts are taking up more space than is allotted for them due to the notch being too small. Otherwise, that jig would be quite handy because even if you can keep the bolt straight without one, it's hard to continue keeping the bolt straight once the insert's threads start gripping and pulling unevenly in the wood.

So I just purchased these and they are great. BUT, do you have a good way to roll them up for storage like you did with the Ratchet Straps?
@pedrosalinas72868 күн бұрын
I just bought one of these. Ended up doing them before I found this video. Love the 4 runner content. I think you should build a wooden sleeper box! It would be a great video considering your carpentry skills 🤝💪

Nice video, and I have done a lot of ceiling fan replacements, I got to say it is rare to find the ceiling fan that you can just pop an extra motor into. 95% of my ceiling fan replacement I have to take the entire housing down, and many times they're not just conveniently screwed to the ceiling joists where you can access the four screws, it is the brackets between the rafters up above. Then you start jamming on the thing and then you have some Sheetrock damage to take care of afterwards. But first of all then you open the ceiling up to find out that they cheaply installed 3 inch ducting, and the whole thing has to be updated to 4 in ducting or even larger for the ceiling fan to work properly, to be as quiet as the songs that it says it is, and to not compromise the longevity of the motor due to the pushback of smaller ducting. You're not giving all the information. You're just giving the simplest install, and then you have these customers thinking that carpenters and electricians are charging too much. Most the time there's much more to it than just popping in a new motor. But good video though

Missed the critical explanation that once the trailer starts going in the chosen direction you need to center the steering or perhaps even reverse steering direction to avoid a guaranteed jack knife if you hold the initial input.
