the mix at Rock am Ring always leaves some room for improvement. But I filmed this from pretty far away (the whole video is at 3x and 10x) and a bit off to the right, I think the gusty winds were the biggest cause of the bad sound there

Even with improved cameras & mics it can’t recreate being there. Unless dead center it’s always going to be distorted.
