Random comment on a random video, I just want to point out something that literally all the online warhammer lore types ignore. The Empire of man is vast, around a million worlds or so, and the variety of these planets is often simplified to forgeworld, hiveworld, hellworld and how the existence in all the empire is some insane nightmare. That's just wrong, the variety of the planets in 40k are just limited to what people choose to write about and occasionally they do write about worlds that are rather pleasant, with happy people, raising families going to church on sundays, vacationing etc... Mind you, the author in these stories are normally just setting up the ball to smack it with chaos/orks/tyranids/etc... but what this implies is there are other planets that are just as nice, maybe they're not common but if you listen to the lore junkies it's all hell all the time and its simply not true. It's like bricky talking about how its the most repressed society ever to have existed.... sort of but it's not nazis or commies standing on your neck to keep you in line, they're attempting to prevent demon's ripping their way out of your mind and killing everyone and it doesn't mean some guy sees a kid drawing a picture in the dirt and puts a bullet in their brain. It's understandable even if its getting annoying because where is the fun story to be had? On the idyllic world safely within the borders or the empire that has never really felt the pain of the unending wars, or is it more interesting to read a about a world that is split open with servitors actively harvesting a living core of planet that is being contested by xenos. It's just kind of annoying as it's slowly shifting the lore in the direction that there really is nothing but a living hell to be found Just a random comment from an old 40k nerd

If I heard you correctly, you said you had a 3d printer? Not that I would know if there is any truth to this but I've heard you can download the 3d files required to print up your 40k army instead of spending $40 per model you could spend .50 on the plastic. Not saying they'd be as nice but if you're just getting into the hobby and screwing around I might consider looking into this. Also if you happen to have a sonic cleaner you might consider just buying used minatures and just toss'em in the cleaner and hit'em with the toothbrush and voila, you'd be amazed how cheap a used badly painted army goes for.

I’m probably late to this but the condition of the blood angels suffer from -and all of the descended chapters as gilliman made a rule that no legions anymore you must be broken down into a chapter of only 1000 space marines, the number might be higher but I remember it being 1000 or 10,000 and I can’t remember which I apologise.- it’s called the black rage, there is a joke that there is blood angel Rorschach test where they are show a Rorschach and asked to see tell the commander what they see, the meme goes “I definitely don’t see Horus” which of course is the early stages, as how would you even know his name unless you are starting to get it

The reason the armour looks similar is that starcraft 2 was originally developed as a warhammer 40 k game until they cancelled it then it got picked up and changed slightly to avoid copyright
