Is it a steam key? I wonder if it's the POE key, maybe it won't work if they have some account bound thing going on.

With 6k hours almost 10k is when you master a craft, maybe I should reconsider playing a video game and master my arts n craft instead🥺

When you say "Item" are you reffering to the game? I would personally contact POE support and ask as i am not sure and don't want to mislead you. This is what i found out: Each zone (instance) is allocated to the server region of the player who generated the instance. You are free to join that instance from a different region, but obviously you will have higher ping for doing so. The only region locks are for China and a few other Asian countries that have local publishers for the game

Just login and create the account inside the game, after restart the game and the message about active the key will disappear

Try removing any empty spaces. Maybe thats the reason

I would assume in that situation you have to talk to POE support as the key is sent/ linked to your account.

I activated the product via the pathofexile2 website. It activated but then didn't tell me what to do next. When i went back to steam and put in the same key, it gave me a 'invlaid key' message? wut do?

I don't think you can buy it from Steam as the keys are given by purchasing a Supporter Pack or by spending more than $480. Also, from what i see, you can get only 3 keys, Steam, Epic and the POE client.

What are you using? Steam, Unreal or the POE client? My Steam Key is working, the POE client key is not... well, i don't have the POE client installed, maybe that's why :D

Sorry for the later reply. Based on what i know, i have been also invited (i purchased and i've been given a key) to the early access. The supporter Pack key, i did redeem on Steam, but the second key (the invitation key) can be redeemed (according to them) on the website. If you go to Pathofexile.com, hover over the SHOP button, you will see at the bottom a REDEEM KEY option. Try it out. I did try it, but the invitation key didn't work for me on Steam or on their Website. I "assume" it's because i already used one of the keys. Hope that this helps :)
